We were here on our last day for breakfast. Landed up here because I did not want to walk any further in search of a breakfast joint 😀 The restaurant is open to ocean and beach views. Swat anywhere and you can still have the ocean view. Not that expensive. The staff are welcoming and attentive. We ordered Pancakes and an omelet nothing fancy with their menu Overall I liked it.

Went here for brunch with my girlfriends and it was fantastic! The view was absolutely incredible, we got seated at the tables nearest to the ocean. The service was very quick and attentive. Two of us ordered the Dungeness crab Benedict and we also ordered the macadamia nut French toast with strawberries! It was SO good! Plus we got lilikoi margaritas and coffee. 10/10 brunch experience, definitely recommend!

Our first visit to Kona and the Fish Hopper. I must say, what a great choice for our first meal. The atmosphere is fantastic and the views incredible. The food was very delicious and the service was great. Many Gluten free options which helps me a lot. We plan a revisit before we leave

Award winning view! Award winning chowder, no really, it's that good! The Hawaiian Ono was light and tasteful. A great dish for the ladies. The Parmesan crusted Mahi was also light and delicate. Nicely sauced. Highly recommend coming for the view and enjoying the under rated entree's.

Had a great time, with delicious food. The boats of seafood are fantastic. They were really busy and service suffered a bit, but atmosphere and food were excellent.

This place had amazing food! They were 6 of us, and all agreed the food was delicious. It's a little upscale, although we didn't realize it and went directly after the beach. Luckily, they were able to accommodate us because it was early, like 5pm. I had salmon and it was so good. Everyone had something different on the menu, and everyone in our party grabbed about the good, especially the ribs. Our waiter was also good and knew the menu well!

4 ⭐ because I had the ocean view seats :) otherwise it would be a 3 ⭐ experience. The food is just ok. This place is famous for its view, not food. The french press Kona coffee is good though.

Very fun place. Food is amazing and I was able to watch my favorite college football team play. Olivia was an amazing bartender and the food was stellar. Pictured is the sesame crusted ahi and toasted colada with fresh made mix. A MUST TRY!!!

Best restaurant on the island! Outstanding customer service and DELICIOUS food. We had the chicken sandwich and poke nachos. The chicken sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had. I wish I could give it more stars.

Well really enjoyed our meal. I got a trio of fish to try and my wife's mahi mahi was very good! A simple restaurant but they worked hard to present the food in a nice way. The prices are a bit expensive but great quality.

The fish hopper in Kailua- Kona was very tasty for all of us! We got the Kona brew fish and chips, the Kalua pork sandwich and the land and sea burger. I asked for my burger to be medium done- it came out well done and they fixed it for me in a second - bringing me a new medium burger. We also had excellent mai tais- Big island Mai tai. The view is absolutely gorgeous onto a little bay with blue clear water!

I would give this a 4.5 out of 5. The food was incrediblly delicious - let's get that straight right away. The Ono was the best fish dish I've ever had hands down. The clam chowder also exceptional. Great atmosphere and solid service as well. The only critique would be that portion size was just a bit small for the price.

What a relief to find to find this place. Great atmosphere and great food, I do recommend it. Make sure to ask for the price of what you are ordering if the price is not on the menu. I ordered the seafood platter for 2 and it was $210. The value is probably correct, but I didn’t need the shock of the bill when I’m simply sharing it with my 5 year old the waiter knew that because my husband ordered his own meal.

Had a great experience at Fish Hopper. Favorite dish was the Open Face Ahi Sandwich. So delicious! Nicole was our server and made sure we were taken care of! Will be back for sure. Make this one of your stops while on Kona!

When in Kona HI, try Fish Hopper! Go for the great food & drinks, stay for the amazing, interesting and helpful staff. Their Happy Hour is not to be missed. On our 6-night Kona trip last week, we went to their HH 4 of our 6 nights in Kona, including our wedding anniversary! Brilliant mixologists Bobby & Heather amazed our taste buds. Gotta check it out.

This place has a great morning view if you arrive around 7:30-8am, very quite street with as the sun rise/warms up. The service and atmosphere is excellent, very friendly staff and quick service. We stopped by for breakfast and had pancakes, scrambled eggs, skillet potatoes, Portuguese sausages, and guava juice. Everything was good, except the guava seemed from a bottle or container and was very sweet. The pancake was good but a little too chewy, and had a burnt oily taste/flavor.
