Kamana Kitchen - Kailua-Kona - Photo album

Came in early at 11:30 on Saturday and were seated right away on the patio right by ocean. Vegetarian thali could be had by 2 if you don’t have that much appetite. Chicken biryani was good as well with boneless chicken pieces. Samosa and naan were hot and fresh. Having such an option in this island
Wonderful setting and space. Great service. The chana masala was way too salty, like other reviewers note. The gobi was great. Really appreciate the clearly-marked vegan options, a big part of why we would return. Reasonably-priced, quick dinner.
Excellent food! We had Mixed Pakora for an appetizer. Enough for one or two. Garlic Nan was yummy. Enough for one or two. Lamb Saga with creamy spinach and spices. Chicken Tikka masala -red sauce. Vegetarian salad with cucumbers, onions and tomatoes w like a vinaigrette with spices.Enough for 2. Als
Our very first stop in big Island, straight from the airport. We were here over 8 years ago and had such a wonderful experience so we couldn't wait to go back. We never forgot how well we had been treated by a server named Laxmi then. She was the first person I asked about, sadly she was not here an
The restaurant is not much to look at. Views of the pier are gorgeous so that's one thing going for them. Very easy to find. We were actually planning to go to Kai Eats and Drinks but found this instead. The food is actually very good - we got the vegetarian thali and the vegetable biryani. The thal
We enjoyed the non-vegetarian royal platter with a side of rice and garlic na'an. The food was SO good! It was the perfect amount for my husband and I to split. We dined on the lanai overlooking the bay. The sounds of ocean waves with the restaurants music playing quietly in the background were fab
Had the vegetarian royal platter here and it was delicious! The owner was very friendly as well!
We've had Indian food all over the world and of all the places this little Indian restaurant in Hawaii has them all beat!! Who would have thought... Had lunch so there was no wait at all. Super fast prep time and the flavors are amazing. Big portions with actual food instead of a few pieces of chick
Stumbled upon this gem. Owner/Staff are very friendly. May be the best Indian food we have had!!
This is easily some of the best food you can eat on the big island. I am from New York/New Jersey where there are countless Indian restaurants. This restaurant outperforms most of them in terms of taste and quality. 100% recommend. Did not expect such delicious Indian food in Hawaii of all places!
Tasty food, fantastic views! We went here on the day we reached Big Island and it was one of the few restaurants open late evening. There is seating indoors and also outdoors but the views from the outside are fantastic. We ordered Roti and Garlic Naan with Navaratan Korma and Mix Veg Curry. The cur
The food was so good, it was hot and tasted super fresh! All the staff was great and the views were great. All in all I loved this restaurant.
We ordered the lamb saag and the shrimp tikka masala. We also ordered cheese naan and another bread that had onions in it, onion kulcha. To drink we ordered a mango lassi. It all was very good. Great flavors from the many different spices. The portions are large. The naan and bread was great to eat s
Came here for dinner on Christmas visiting from out of town. Was grateful that this place was open on the holiday. The good: -Food was very tasty -Decent portion sizes -For the island comparables, reasonably priced -Nice location, though we couldn't see the ocean because it was dark The bad: -We w
NEVER eaten more tastey Indian food anywhere. we have eaten Indian food all over the world, this little place takes the cake!!! spice blend and taste are perfect!!! fresh!! not the usual run of the mill packet masalas!
We thought the food was delicious. It was noon so service was a little slow but worth the wait. We selected beef korma, Tiki Masala, curry chicken, garlic Naan. Enough left overs for dinner and lunch the following day. Really enjoyed everything.
We ordered vegetarian thali, Chana masala, daal tadka and garlic naan. The spicy level was supposed to be xtra xtra hot. It was good flavorful food but the spicy level was not there for all of the dishes.
Good Indian food, but not Authentic. Their breads are good, but Curries are too much tangy. We had chicken Biryani never it was too tangy I didn’t had that tangy biryani before.
