Kona Inn Restaurant - Kailua-Kona - Photo album

Nice restaurant with water view. It's a nice spot to watch the sunset if you time your meal right. Food is good and American style with a focus on fish Hawaiian style. We made the mistake of ordering nachos and while it was great, it didn't leave much room for us for the main meal. Mai tai was stro
Very nice, historic place. The food was great, the service excellent... very attentive and charming. The view - hard to beat. Happy hour drink prices good. Their Mai Tai excellent too!
Really beautiful restaurant right on the beach in Kona… this place has an amazing view, with a royal aloha experience. We enjoyed the stacked tuna, clam chowder and coconut shrimp. Food was good, the clam chowder could have been a bit thicker but it’s not Boston after all :-)
Fabulous service with a great view, especially at sunset! I would recommend the Mai Tai definitely in my top 3 that I've had on the island. The food was great large portions. My only comment is that the vegetables were on the cold side, and I would ask for a little bit less sauce on the tuna stack a
Fantastic food and service since the 70's. Beautiful beach front outdoor dining experience; the cafe has a retractable awning that is retracted at sunset, for a beautiful open air atmosphere, 40 feet from the beach. The large raised bar also provides great views of Kona Bay.
Our first night in Kona was spent dining at this well-known restaurant. The 7 of us all enjoyed our meals. Then had their world famous Mudslide pie. I highly recommend
Highly recommend making a reservation, especially if you want a table on the water. Beautiful atmosphere, perfect view for our last sunset in Kona, macadamia crusted mahi was amazing. Service was not great, not terrible. She was friendly enough, just not very on top of refilling drinks, splitting th
Celebrated my birthday at Kona Inn. I would say of all the restaurants we visited this one had the best view. The beach is right across the lawn and we ended up coming for sunset. We didn't make a reservation and got sat right away but were there right when they opened for dinner. It got busy real q
Such a cozy place very 1940s-1950s vibe! Loved the food, drinks, view, and atmosphere. Check out the old pictures on the walls.
Very nice restaurant. We just happened across this place. I saw the ocean view from the front of the restaurant and thought I'd give it a look. The fish sandwich was delicious and the happy hour margaritas were a nice treat.
