We went in the early afternoon, around 3pm, to get sandwiches for lunch the next day. There was no line, Jeremiah was friendly and professional; he made our sandwiches perfectly! The dining room was clean. Will definitely go back.
I googled places to grab a bit @9:30 last night, and was surprised to see subway was open until 10:00. I had a wonderful experience. Serenity prepared my sandwich and was charming. So much so that I am compelled to share my experience. Mahalo 😎
Staff here is friendly and very efficient. It's a great place to grab a quick bite for lunch. Sandwiches were made to our liking. Toppings are fresh, and so is the meat. Parking is free and available. The restaurant is clean as well.
We came in here since we wanted a sandwich to take with us to the airport; and i hate to say i didnt want to 'experiment' with an unknown establishment as we were about to get on a 6hr flight - store was clean, employees greeted us, no line when we went in.
The gal politely asked if we were sharing the sandwich (we were) - we got the club foot long; i added some jalapeno on my side and added cucumber to the whole thing.
Sandwich was nicely wrapped and cut in half. Total was $15.41 or so, i left a nice tip.
Tasty and fresh, prices are much higher than mainland as you'd expect.
The most professionally run Subway in Kona. The only place where my online order was waiting for me! Even when they only had one sandwich artist on the counter and half dozen people dining in.
Lots of veggies in my sandwich. They also offer the veggie patty option (not every location have this)
Subway prices are more expensive in Hawaii than mainland US, so it’s not isolated to this location. Its something I grab for nostalgia and def not a quick lunch like in my former life.
They were a little busy, so be patient. Good customer service, though.
Subway sandwiches are my healthy alternative, although they offer additional sides to sweeten up any meal. 5 locations in Kailua-Kona area make it very easy to find. Great fresh ingredients every time. Parking was no problem at any of the locations.
They make great subs. We went here and Trent was awesome. Best Subway sub I’ve had yet.

Love the mobile order only problem, every time I order a BBQ Rib sandwich they keep forgetting the BBQ sauce when I include other sauces in the sandwich.

Clean, fast and efficient. Product was all fresh. Had a Turkey, bacon, and guacamole wrap. It was as good as those get.
