Really nice marketplace but most stores are a bit pricey except for few stores. Small but very nice place to spend some quite time and relax.

Super fun market space outdoor and easily accessible from kona. Fun vendors and kitchen stuff you might want on your vacation!
The best Hawaien shirts on the island . Jenny had plenty of 3 x and took time to help me find them . Very good prices . Only place I'll buy my shirts.
Great collection of shops and tourist souveniers. Some more touristy and some more unique. Picked up some blown glass Christmas ornaments and watched the geckos (who loved m&m’s). Glad we went.
This market symbolizes everything Hawaii has to offer: local, family owned, friendly, easy going and diverse little shops. Reasonably priced. A hidden trove of knick knacks, apparel, food and jewelry.

Loved my walk thru the marketplace. Had a Keiki size serving of shaved ice, found some amazing cards and bought a purse hancrafted by sew da kine in hilo. It was a pleasure to hold the gemstones , watch the geko and smell the kona coffee brewing. A must see in kailua kona.
Great marketplace! We had such a nice and friendly experience here. Girls enjoyed the lotion shop (and the friendly doggy and owner!) and the jewelry. Will visit again!
Today my family and I visited The Alii gardens market and had such a nice experience. They have a large variety of shops with local vendors. Everyone was so friendly. We really felt the Aloha spirit. My sister purchased a nice set of coffee mugs hand made, and painted there at the Kona Pottery shop . The gal also Does classes. Acrossed from her was a cbd Store with the cutest little Dog, welcoming everyone that passed by. We will defiantly be back our next trip.
I really only went to mail myself a coconut. I could have just packed it in my luggage (about$20) but I didn't have room, so it was $30 shipping but totally worth it. They don't do stamps anymore like in the 90s but the husband and wife who paint them are amazingly kind people and great artist. They do custom work too. I also had some great shaved ice there!
Awesome little market. While we were priced out of a lot of things, you will find little gems here and there. Wonderful photography stand, lots of awesome art, and amazing people! Oh, and the Poke place in there was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Best Poke I have ever had, 10 out of 5 stars for that little joint (and reasonably priced).
Both really reasonably priced tourists items as well as true locally made artistic items. Really loved the look and feel of the place and the vendors

I have been on the look out for good Hawaiian pendant for myself for a long time and having been recommended, I came to this shop and left with two pendants at good price.
I purchased one stellar sea cow and koa pendant along with a koa with cow pendant.
The owner is very honest with her display, and she genuinely wants to find you the right piece. The pricing is very reasonable. The items are certainly handcrafted by local artisan. She sells the pendant for other artisan and her own things are weapons. If you like weapons I can tell you they look very authentic at her place and made by her husband who is also Hawaiian.
I am not sure whether my stellar sea cow bone is real but I believe her for it. The koa on the stellar sea cow piece might be a bit too grey for me to think koa but the pendant overall looks like what I wanted. A symbol of primal and courage from Hawaiian.
The other piece is surely koa with cow bone. The bone is not much worth mentioning but the koa is probably the most light and curly koa wood piece used on those fish hook item. Loves it so far.
Cute, friendly shop owners, plenty of seating area / tables for resting or catching some shade. Greg at Kona Natural Soap company is lovely (shop to the left upon entry)
Love this place!
Sassafras Hawaii Jewelry is amazing Bought a necklace charm from Reneè and she was so friendly, engaging and knowledgeable about each piece! I went to MANY places in the island to find the right piece for a souvenir from this trip and not until going there and meeting her did I finally purchase something!
It was a simple round charm and and the price tag was covering the back, after she took it off we discovered a dragonfly was on the back!
I love it!
Shaka Tacoz food truck was there! Isa was so friendly as well and helped us order , being our first time there. She was amazing at her job and you can tell she loves it and Pork Shaka Tacoz ( it’s what she recommended and I thoroughly enjoyed)
Beautiful place, quiet and comfortable. There are about 30 stalls selling jewellery, T-shirt’s and souvenirs. A couple of painting shops too. Love the coconut postcard shop
Nice shops, especially the one with beautiful wooden sculptures of manta rays. The taco spot here is delicious!
