Poke is Hawaii’s favourite food and I wanted to know why! As a poke newbie, I tried many different poke places in Oahu and Hibachi is by far the best! They sell real fresh poke bowls at a very affordable price! After sampling on multiple types and flavours, I ordered, Ginger Shoyu Salmon Poke! Oh man, it was darn tasty! Grab one for yourself and enjoy it at the beach! NOM!

When in Hawaii, go grocery! A mini-mart stocked with all kinds of poke and and things on sticks. Poke is scooped to order, and all sorts of meat refrigerates in marinade, ready to go on the grill. We stuck with the poke today, but I would like revisit the skewers. The variety was impressive, and they all looked irresistible.
Why such a low rating?! Been here 3 times this trip and everything was delicious. Lamb chops are the best! Fast service fair price quality food
The poke is amazing here. Made with very fresh, local fish, this stuff is delicious. I work as a dive instructor next door to this place, and it is always the first place I visit when I'm back on dry land. Don't miss out! Grab some poke, a good beer, and enjoy a quick lunch on the lanai.
Our first time at Hibachi, and our first time eating Poke - WOW!! It's a cute little market with parking in the back. The young man who helped us was super charismatic and gave us great service. We split a regular bowl with ginger salmon, oyster ahi and tako. It was all phenomenal, but we did get another half pound of tako to add to our 1/4 pound. YUM, Highly Recommend!!
Poke tastes so fresh and delicious. You get a lot of variety of flavors. Great prices and you can custom your order to price too. We got 3 diff quarter lb flavors and rice, all for $26. Highly recommended. Great friendly service ! Outdoor seating provided in front of store .
Every time we visit Oahu, this place is a must. Super fresh poke, super nice service! Wasabi mayo ahi ♥️
This was a weird store upon entry since it was a convenience store on the left and the restaurant to the right. An employee explained the process to us if we wanted a rice bowl and then we were out within five minutes. Food was good and cost about $12/person for lunch. I’d love to go back for a quick lunch sometime. Seating is minimal and parking is essentially whatever you can find on the street.

I don't come out to the Windward side often enough...so I tend to forget the offerings on this side of the island...and how beautiful it can be. Parking is also usually more challenging in most places. Good thing The Hibachi has its own lot in the back. I think they have another location in town as well. This place is more of a Hybrid; liquor store / Restaurant. There is some outdoor seating available, lots of liquor and local snacks available to purchase. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have some of the best Poké bowls on the island. The flavors and offerings are very unique and I haven't seen similar dishes elsewhere.
They sell Poké by the pound, and allow you to mix it in one bowl. They were nice enough to let us pick three types of Poké. The young gent helping us said any more than three gets tricky in a bowl and we're probably better off getting additional Poké separately. He let us try a few samples as well.

Perfectly done. I find ti harder to come across a good Scallops Poké these days...let alone one that is this tasty.

Amazing. Haven't tasted anything like this before. That pepper flavor was brilliant! Nice little kick to it without being overwhelming. I could clearly identify the pepper...most definitely not other spices or chilies. So unique!
- Citrus Ponzu - 4/5
This one was the weakest of the three we tried. I actually think it would have been good if we didn't try other two flavors before. The Citrus Ponzu flavor wasn't as strong as we liked.
We really wanted to try the Thai Basil, but alas they ran out. Oh NO! We'll just need to come back...
Can I six star this place?
Just amazing poke. I think the sides can use a bit of work but seriously no actual complains. Everyone is friendly there as well.
My husband and I went three times while in town despite being a forty minute drive from our hotel.
I could eat here every day. Outdoor seating but no indoor seating.
Fuiyoh. This poke joint is handsdown one of the best ive had in my life.
Id recommend to get less poken weighins vs rice. Its rich in flavour and taste. I wouldve liked to have more rice.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE
Great spot and average customer service, maybe try a plate lunch when I'm back but not completely blown away yet.
Hands down the best poke I have ever had in my life. This market serves well marinated and seasoned poke. They have several flavors to choose from but I would recommend ahi poke over rice and a spicy or wasabi mayo flavor. The way it’s marinated and with onions is simply amazing. There’s no other place in Hawaii that could beat this price for the standard of quality. A poke plate can be anywhere from $10-13 and it will be worth it.
Good thing they have their own parking. Got their surf and turf and a kalbi plate. Both very flavorful. The poke tasted a bit bland so we didn’t get a bowl.
The best poke we had on our trip to Oahu. Everyone was so friendly, allowing us to try different menu items with different combinations of sauces. The seaweed salad was killer, my husband LOVED the spicy Thai basil poke, very spicy! The skewers are tasty too. They also sell a good variety of beer.
