The diet pepsi was terrible! Normally it's delicious - this evening it was not. Too much carbonation, not enough syrup. Don't cut corners McD's, we're counting on you to be good and fair.

I am used to the poor quality of McDonald's on the mainland so was very much surprised by the great job they do here to deliver a quality product. I particularly like their chicken sandwiches. The lettuce is always fresh, not the wilted stuff typical of most fast food places, and the tomato slices are firm and more than the typical sliver that I am used to from mainland McDonald's restaurants. I also like the local style breakfast menu only available in Hawaii. This McDonald's is a cut above.
I’ve been there 4 times in the last month and has been the BEST McDonald’s I have ever been too! Service is friendly, food is hot and fresh and quality is on point. Moved here from Texas and very impressed. Thank you!
Overall, I am happy with our experience there, but it was kinda difficult to know where to order in the drive thru. The first intercom looked like the correct option based on the label, but they never answered there. We drove up to the second intercom and they answered right away! Good food and cool happy meal packaging, even though it took a bit.

A good clean McDonald's. This is a recently renovated McDonald's with good food. It is always a reliable fast food choice in Kailua. It is not as packed as the fast food at Kailua towne center. There also aren't a lot if homeless at this McDonalds so it is pretty safe. Right next to the bus stop.
The staff here is friendly, professional and welcoming. Store is very clean.
The wait wasn't long they got my order correct the service was smoothest the way through
The drive-through can be a little tight at times, but the crew tries to work efficiently with getting orders out quickly.
They got the order correct and in a timely manner. Its hit and miss at this McDonald's. They have some employees that have been there for a long time, and they are great. Sometimes they put new people on the drive through that should be assisted by managers more closely because they struggle with your order, anything that is not prefabricated, and can really screw up the flow of traffic that leads to excessive waste of your time.
