Being that it was our first time there, we were a little nervous. Our waitress explained everything to us. I was able to find gluten-free and vegan food while my husband was able to find a variety of meat and vegetables that he enjoyed. The food and service were great.

This was an incredible restaurant. It's been a long time since I've had Mediterranean food and I had forgotten how delicious it is, and how healthy it can be. We ordered way too much food and everything tasted as if it had been cooked fresh on the premises and it was melt in your mouth delicious!

Truly outstanding food, inspired by Lebanese and Maghrébin cuisines. Tasteful decor and graceful service. The magic of its flavors transports you to the world of 1001 Arabian nights

The food is So Refreshing. Drinks you Must try get Lavender Fields. Hands down you'll not be disappointed in anything you order here. Just wait till you try. First pic salmon kabob. Delicious well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Second was the trio kabob. Oh my I almost cried it was so good. Get the spicy Moroccan soup. It's not spicy rather sweet and a hit of heat. I'll take s bath in it please. Thank you for the for great food. I'll definitely drive the two hours to visit Soon. Sarah B is also fantastic thanks for great service.

what a great spot to chill and eat a healthy dinner at. I have only had good babaghanoush(spell check) once, and this one was now the second! it had a smoky barbeque taste to it. Every staff member was welcoming, kind, and helpful! Someone even dropped 2 plates of food in the booth next to us(like 20mins to close) and they made no fuss about it, asked them what they had, and kindly remade it. Highly recommend the sample platters so you get a taste of all the delishness. My hubby got the Chicken Cutlet and I got the Chickpea Tagine. Definitely flavorful where most veggie dishes at other restaurants lack! Thanks for letting us stop into your oasis!

I think it’s up for debate what our wedding guests loved more, seeing us get married or this food. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We were able to make a menu that not only accommodated vegans, vegetarians, nut allergies, and gluten sensitivities, but also provided a complete meal for those guests. We heard from just about every one of our 140+ guests how it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Many of the guests were not familiar with Mediterranean food, but they left with a new favorite cuisine. The staff were extremely helpful throughout the process and were very enthusiastic about giving us the best experience possible. We would highly recommend them for anything from dining in to catering larger events.

Driven past this place a few times, decided to give it a try. Atmosphere was very relaxed. Food was phenomenal, tasty. Excellent service. The house-made hot sauce is delicious. I'll definitely stop again, when I'm visiting the Zoo

Zooroona Restaurant is one of our best choices for an evening out in Kalamazoo, MI. Creatively prepared Middle Eastern cuisine at reasonable prices and attentive service. We enjoy their private lounges with comfortable divans. Reservations are recommended as it gets crowded.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The food was delicious and we tried several dishes. All of them were fresh, seasoned wonderfully, and authentic. Plenty of vegan options. Turkish coffee and Hibiscus tea were fantastic. Definitely check out Zooroona.

First time at this restaurant. We went based on a recommendation. The service was great! The food was amazing. The portions were large. I had the falafel burger. Love it! For dessert we shared the date cake. It was delicious! We also had tea and coffee with dessert. Definitely some of the best!

We are in Kalamazoo on a business trip and found this Mediterranean restaurant on Google. Zooroona is a welcoming place with an authentic atmosphere. Eating at Zooroona was like going back to Middle East. We sat at Diwan enjoying our meal while listening to Arabic music. They serve complimentary pita bread with za'atar and olive oil. For the main course we had Shish Tawook (two marinated chicken skewer) & Kafta Kabob (two ground beef skewer) both plates came with grilled zucchini, tomato, beet, rice with a dash of almond and raisin on top. They also serve plates from specific parts of Middle East like Persian Chicken Fesenjoon or Lebanese Lamb Medley over Hummus. The meat was fresh, and the food was delicious. Shelby and Matt were nice servers. We recommend it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Nice atmosphere with little "private" lounge seat and tables. My friend who was vegan had lots of food to choose from. We had enough food to share between the both of us and left feeling full. The tea was also amazing.

I’ve been here twice. Once before the pandemic and the other about a month ago. When I came back I came at a time where we were the only customers there. Which surprises me because the food is really good and it was a Friday before rush hour. The Al Dar Salad was amazing and the side salad is honestly a meal on it’s own. The salmon kabab wasn’t as flavorful as I expected, but it was cooked to me liking and I still appreciated it. The Cream Chop Chicken was not what I expected, but it was definitely good. And I really like the restaurant and the staff. We picked outdoor seating, and I would say it would be nice to have some type of barrier so you’re not looking right into the parking lot. We awkwardly had someone park right in front of us and sat there for over 15mins even though there was so much parking available. It was definitely distracting, but clearly we had the choice of inside too. Unfortunately the person parked there and sat after we had been there for a bit. But, that’s just a personal annoyance mostly with the driver lol. Overall, highly recommend. Will come back to try other items on the menu. Also, the food was serviced quickly which I appreciated since I was on a time crunch with my partner so it was the perfect choice for what we needed. Love the healthier items on the menu as well.

What a surprise to find this in our weekend getaway. Their tabouleh and baba ganoush was some of the best I’ve ever had and we order out for this quite a bit in Chicago. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. It was also really nice that they allowed our dog in the patio.
