Tibbs never disappoints! Their beer is excellent and often usual (they had a lavender beer, an elderberry Belgian trippel, and a strawberry wheat this time around, among others). Tried their pizza this time, which was excellent and crispy and fresh. Definitely one of my go-to breweries in Kalamazoo.

I love the delicious beers and the food. While many of their brews are strong, they taste amazing. They even have one of the only IPAs my partner enjoys. Upstairs, the view outside is nice with the many wicked and they have a small outdoor seating arrangement in the warmer months. The wait staff is friendly and makes you feel at home. Located in the downtown area, this could make a great stop on a pub crawl or be a great place to spend your evening.

Beer choices were good and bartenders were friendly BUT they both hid / hung out in back so I saw several people come in and walk out because they didn't get greeted or served quick enough.... As a small brewery, any loss in dollars could be detrimental so having a bell or something on the door to alert the bartenders may be a good idea?! Cool little place... Hopefully no one else misses out due to not being served quick enough!

Great selection of quality crafted beers. As a out of towner I was fortunate enough to get a chance to partake in a brewery tour of kzoo and this gem was one of the stops. The owners passion for good beer is evident in the product. Didn't have a bad beer here! The chocolate cherry porter is a must try!

Love this place - definitely one of my favorite breweries in Kalamazoo. The beer is great, the staff is awesome and the atmosphere is laid back welcoming. The new menu is really impressive - I’ve been for lunch a handful of times and I’m always pleased.

Im not a diehard microbrew fan, but i do respect the talents of those who have a craft and make something people enjoy. That being said, try the strawberry blonde. Nice atmosphere, a roomful of regulars, and helpful staff. What's not to like? I'll definitely be back, especially when those hot dogs are back on the menu.

My girlfriend and I went to Tibbs maybe two summers ago and drank a sample flight on their front patio. Their peanut butter porter in particular had a spell on me; the best PBP that I have found so far! This past summer, we were in Kalamazoo and thought to swing by Tibbs after the first good experience. Come to find out, they had a massive basement bar that we were not aware of! The PBP beer was not there but I'd trade it for what we found instead. The beer was tasty, the atmosphere was great, but most notably, we had wonderful service. The woman's name was Kerry, I believe. I wrote it down somewhere to make sure I would follow up with a proper review because the service was stand apart from most. Regardless, she was sweet, sincere, focused, timely, and all the while relaxed and fun. Lots of breweries have their beer and atmosphere sculpted but good service is more difficult to control, if not overlooked. Tibbs continues to impress with all. We will be going back when in town.

Downtown Kalamazoo staple. They have some of the best beers in town and everyone is super friendly. I do not think I have ever seen a mad person in there, employee or customer. The only downfall is parking, but that is part of the downtown experience.

Tibbs is an amazing small brewery located in downtown kalanazoo. Great choice of beer varieties especially for a small independent brewery. Also they offer a selection of tasty food. Don't hesitate, stop by ASAP And don't forget to say Hi to Karrie. Best Beer-tender around.

Wonderful local brewery. The only downside - every beer we've had here makes all other beers look bad. It's that good, and the brewer is that good. They also make their own cream soda and root beer.

We are not from around the area so this was our second time visiting. Love the beer! Just wish they had more merchandise sizes. I really wanted to buy one but the sizes were very limited.

This will forever be one of my favorites breweries. I used to walk there all the time when I lived in kzoo. Only downfall is it can get crowded due to its small size. Great beer!

Tibbs has the best porters. Our favorite is the Ben Jonesin but they're all quite good. You cant beat the prices at Tibbs and they're always friendly too. We stop here whenever we're in town. The only negative is I dont care for Tibbs IPAs. They just don't have the hoppy bitterness to compete with most other places these days. They are very mild which might make them appeal to non-IPA drinkers a bit more, but I would rather stick to the amazing porters.

Tibb's is a very small but high quality brew pub on Mall Street. Early on a lot of the beer was hit or miss. These days it is consistently high quality. Last time I was in the fryer stunk the whole place to high hell but I'm chucking that up as a one-time problem.

My first choice for down town Kalamazoo would always be Tibbs. It's impossible to tell if the bees or the servers are better, and the beers are the best in town! Now serving food. Real goog cook who always helps make your food exactly the way you want it even if its adding a little something off the menu

Small personable place. Love the small diner feel. Beers are well made and distictive. Belgians are worth it. Ben Jonesin chocolate toffee porter was awesome

They had a live Jazz band playing and it was amazing. Great choice of beer and pleasant staff. This will be a regular place I visit when I come to Kalamazoo.
