Small plate sharable Italian restaurant in Texas township. The wine list was impressive, ordered Barbara and a rose from La Spinetta. The food was phenomenal; started with a caprese salad that featured a creamy mozzarella cheese. The star of the night was the Saturday special bistecca; a 2.2 pound perfectly prepared medium rare Porter house steak (easily shared by up to 4) paired with rosemary potatoes and risotto. Finished the night with delectable canolli and Italian chocolate pudding with French press coffee. The dinning room contained an intimate yet modern decor. Look forward to visiting again.

Food was pricey but delicious. For an Italian place, it didn't have any pasta dishes. However, the salmon dish was incredible, and most dishes were at least quite good. Cocktails were pretty good. Wait staff was excellent. You will get small portions for a high price but the taste will be great. I didn't have a bad dish. Enjoy!

Gusto and Bold never disappoint. Great food, drinks and atmosphere. Nice little bar area for a glass of wine (or 3) and dessert. Staff is always above par and you often see the the owner around and checking on customers. Refreshingly well ran establishments

Friendly staff, nice decor, and excellent food! What more could you want?! Staff: We were warmly greeted at the door by the host, who asked if we had reservations. We did not, however arrived early enough that we had been taken to a seat immediately. Our server arrived shortly after and did NOT make the crucial mistake of asking if we wanted drinks right away, but did offer the drink menu and some water which arrived with lemon. The manager also stopped by the table a couple of times and was very friendly. Our server that delivered the food was also extremely personable and knowledgeable of the menu as we had a couple of rounds of food. The server explained it really well and left us without questions. Decor: If you had to been to the previous restaurant that was in this location you would be hard-pressed to find any wisp of the old place. Gusto is adorned with vertical Subway tiles, white and blue. speaking of blue, the majority of the decor is in some shade of blue. Very cozy and hip at the same time. Food: Gusto is all about sharing your food. The menu mentions small plates however the smallest plate that we received was still plenty of food for the two of us. We got risotto/speck balls and add tomato and burrata cheese salad to start. The risotto balls were tasty, and cooked well. It's kind of hard to mess up tomato and cheese, it tasted fine. Being a Friday, it was Bistec Friday. We normally limit our meat intake, however, decided to get the porterhouse and rosemary potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly and arrived sliced next to the bone. Potatoes were cooked well, but did not have very much of a rosemary flavor. Because this is a BOLD property, we were secretly hoping that the dessert menu would have the wonderful budino. We were wonderfully surprised to see that it was on the menu! However, it was a chocolate version and left us wishing that the BOLD version was on the menu instead. We also got the tiramisu and it was excellent. Wrap-up: Gusto is a wonderful addition to the growing Texas corners scene in Kalamazoo County. Food is not inexpensive per say, however, it follows the tried-and-true BOLD formula of excellent staff, excellent food and drink, and pleasant decor. You should go here.

My wife and I enjoyed a perfect evening at this great new place in Texas Township. Our meal and service was at the same high level we would expect from their other dining establishment, BOLD. We look forward to returning soon to try other special items on their menu.

Mi Gusto Mucho! Ok so my Italiano is much more Spanish than Italian but you get the idea. We’ve been craving authentic Italian since visiting Tuscany in August. We started the trip down memory lane with a Prosecco and Peroni. Next the broccoli small plate! Delisicioso! Then the bistecca ala Florentina with rosemary potatoes! It hit the spot and brought back so many memories of our time in Tuscany! Bottles of wine are 40% off on Thursday so we indulged on a Super Tuscan. We wrapped things up with Budino and cappuccino! Jake, our server, made the night extra special. He was right there when we needed him, made great recommendations and was adept at carrying on a meaningful conversation! Thank you to Mike the bartender at Bold for recommending this place. We will definitely return and bring some friends!

The food is amazing and the staff are wonderful. The atmosphere is classy but not intimidating. The prices are a bit high, but on par with the quality of the food.

This place is magically delicious. We are regular guests of their other restaurant and I have to say. They have done it again. Everything was perfect.
