Great venue with a nice vibe. Was here for a show and the bands were great, especially Buddahhand. The Pizza was yummy too! The acoustics could have been a bit better though, however, that is my only complaint lol
I ordered a personal sized pizza from Papa Pete’s while dining at the Blue Dolphin. The Blue Dolphin is the front half of the building with huge menu, Papa Pete’s is in the back with another bar, pizza only and pool tables! Pizza is delicious and oh so reasonably priced.
One of the top pizza places in Kalamazoo! Great food and people with many options for live entertainment. Definitely worth checking out!
At Papa Pete's, you'll find live DJ performances as well as full band shows predominately in EDM and Metal/rock genres. They also have 3 pool tables that are kept up and maintained. Their full bar/kitchen prices are at or below local restaurant standards. ***Most people don't know that their pizza is amazing and very reasonably-priced***

Pizza is cheap and beer is good. They consistently have good shows and the bartenders are all great.
Nice chill bar during the week where you can play some pool. They have events on the weekends that are usually pretty awesome.
Busy show night so pizza took a little time, but it was well worth the wait! Amazing pizza and nice bartenders.

Best atmosphere of any bar in Kalamazoo! Now with that being said, I like my bars to feel a little more like a sleezy hole-in-the-wall with cheep beers and entrancing entertainment. If you don't check their website, you're always sure to walk in to something new and eccentric when you come to Papa Pete's. Whether it's goth night, or a rave, or any other whacky themed night, you're sure to have a fun time, have a friendly bartender, and spend next to nothing on tap beer! Also they have a fantastic selection of customizations that you can make to their pizza, which is always 🔥🔥 and extremely reasonably priced.
Awesome spot for music. Must go to Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Check for events.
This venue is smallish but well-mananaged, clean, unique, and has great service! I really appreciate the pizza options (gluten-free!) and variety of beverages available.
