This place always seems packed! Had to make reservations here two days in advanced for a party of 7. Although it’s also near Christmas lol. Anyways the food was so great. We got the toasted ravioli appetizer and that was amazing. Next, I got a Caesar salad 🥗 which was great. I did get to try the house salad and I was surprised how much I liked that also. Finally, the wedge salad is crazy looking haha and you have to cut your own salad!! Lol. Anyways then we split two dishes between three people. And we still had left overs! Haha the Samantha was definitely the best dish. The Alfredo sauce is to die for!! We also got like the beef pasta.. it was good but not as good as the Samantha. 🍝Really enjoyed the place though!
Had the cannelloni and the limoncellotini, both were fantastic. I didn't think I'd be able to eat it all but I managed. My only regret is that I had no room for dessert. Maybe next time, because I will definitely be back.
Classic Italian style and menu, worth putting in a reservation. Very busy but accommodating... you know the food's good when there's an hour wait on a Wednesday evening! However, we put our name in and then got a text within 15min offering a lovely outdoor table on an enclosed & heated patio area. A special kudos to Michelle, as it was her first night serving; kindness and attention goes a long way to make a night out at a new place worth coming back! Try the toasted ravioli for a great app while you wait for your main dish. My guy is picky about his Old Fashioneds and the bar made an excellent one.
One of the "most Italian" restaurants I have ever been in the US. Quality of food proves the cook is either Italian or got an Italian mentor. Very efficient service, offering options to all possible allergies or other special preferences.
Atmosphere is somewhat missing though, maybe because black and white photos everywhere make it monotonous.
This place is a classic example of "if it ain't broke don't fix it" at its finest. Bad neighborhood? Doesn't matter. Tiny dining room? Doesn't matter. You know what does matter? The food; and how was the food? The ABSOLUTE BEST Italian I've had in my whole damn life. ORDER THE GAROZZO and THANK ME LATER.
This place is awesome! The atmosphere is great. Its how I would imagine dining at a restaurant owned by the Italian mob in the 1930s. The food is awesome. They specialize in a dish named pollo spedini. The Samantha is my favorite.
Another huge bonus is that if it's your birthday and you can prove it with a valid driver's license, then your dinner is free.
The portions are large and the service is great.
Always solid! I definitely recommend the regular stuffed artichoke appetizer and add shrimp. Sooo delicious with the garlic butter!
In Kanas City for a conference, went here for twice , we liked it so much! Excellent food here!
Excellent place to grab some Italian food. Place was packed and we were lucky to get a table. Friendly staff and excellent service. If I am ever back in KC I'll definitely visit again.
Felony Melanie!!! Ask for her! I'm in my forties and she is by far the best server I've ever had! She was awesome! Personality was amazing and on point with her service! My buddy and I would definitely go back and most likely will before we leave town! The food was great and the portion sizes were legit! (I 100% copy and pasted the same thing I wrote on Yelp because she was just that amazing! Definitely go check the place out!
Stop...just stop. If you're looking for exceptional in KC you can and should stop in here. I LOVE Italian food and this completely blew me away. From the meatball app and the recommended sampler all the way through to their special dessert coffee. It was an amazing experience. Kate and Katie were perfect hosts and had great recommendations.
The cheese they use is a blend from St Louis and is unlike anything I've had before. Probably going back before I jet out to try the artichoke app.
Thanks for redeeming a lot if other KC restaurants. Well done...very well done.
Nate was awesome! Seriously one of the best servers I’ve ever had! One of my favorite restraints ever and took my boyfriend for valentines day - phenomenal food and drinks. I am not from KC, but make sure I come here every time i am. This place truly never misses and can’t wait to come back in the near future! Ask for Nate when you come!
Everything was amazing. Lovely atmosphere and the food was cooked to perfection. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful.
Garrozzo's is Italian Kansas City at its finest. Good food, good service for a reasonable price point. I started with an Old Fashion. Bar service is on point and drink well made. We had the Toasted Ravioli as a starter. It has meat or cheese selection with red sauce. My main course was the filet mignon and pasta. It was very good. We will return.
Thank you Lonni for your excellent service as busy as it was after that Chief's win. Be back soon. The Best Italian food ever, without leaving the Country, 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️😋
This is The Best Neighborhood restaurant Ever. I loved the atmosphere and the food was fantastic. So impressed with everything. I can't wait to go back.
For the area, this Italian food is amazing. Every dish is created with quality in mind. Everything tastes fresh and high quality. The waiters are incredibly polite and attentive. The atmosphere is upscale and comfortable at the same time. We are absolutely going back. Everything on the menu sounded great, and what we got was spot on. Attached will be images of the meatball appetizer and chicken Parm main course. Chicken Parm was excellent, the meatballs were also pretty solid. The sauce between the two was honestly what blew me away (many sauces in the area are horribly acidic. Not this one). There was also ample parking across the street in a small parking lot. Can't help but get the old school neighborhood feel to this place as well. Seems to be a valued gem for the community, and for great reason. I can't wait to get back there, sincerely!
This is a classic Italian restaurant. It's not a large restaurant, so don't expect to walk in and get a table. The servers never let our drinks get low, very engaging and had several recommendations and advice.
We came here to celebrate our 21st anniversary and we couldn't ask for a better experience. The gluten free options were plentiful and very tasty. It was soo good, I already made another reservation.
The portions are large and the drinks are strong. The GF molten lava cake was amazing. You will need the vanilla ice cream to balance it out.
