The atmosphere here is very friendly and welcoming. We sat inside, and the booth was very comfortable, and the service was great. Everyone dining loved the food, overall a very good experience. Next time, I will probably look to sit outside on the balcony. It looked like a fun time.

Had a chance to celebrate with coworkers at Gram and Dun. It was an incredible experience, from the staff to the food this was a great moment for me. I had the pork chop shoulder and my goodness it was huge. If you’re looking for a nice place to with a great scenic vibe this is the place for you.

Gram and Dun is my new favorite restaurant! My girlfriend and I went for our anniversary and were pleasantly surprised. We went on a Saturday so I ordered the 76ers sushi roll and she ordered a salad with salmon. Both 10/10 meals. Great server... Thanks Derek!! They have a few gluten free options but not many however all such food.

First time here in years and the first time ever for brunch. After only being there for 10 minutes, I thought to myself, this place is going into my rotation immediately, if not sooner! Our server, Heather, was fabulous! Personable, friendly, accurate, attentive...what more can you ask? Everything we ate and drank made us do the happy chair dance, sing, make funny noises, and/or say OMG, taste this! As for cocktails, I highly recommend the Smoking Gun. The smoked ice cube with rosemary frozen into it was everything! The Calypso and the Brunch Punch were also delicious. The food: Asian pig wings, fried oysters, breakfast skillet, shrimp and grits, crab cake Benedict, beignets and mascarpone stuffed French toast were all to live for! The apps and beignets each had interesting sauces that sounded questionable but worked perfectly. The chef is kind of like Bret Veach and the Chiefs roster...I learned to stop questioning him. Go, eat, drink, thank me later!

My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner. The food was....good and the service was good. We were recommended food that we both thought was good, but we didn’t enjoy how loud the restaurant was. We wanted to have a nice conversation, but the room was so loud that we could barely hear each other. We went here on a friday night, so maybe a different day might be better. For this reason, I can not rate this a 5 star.

Gram & Dun is a popular restaurant in Kansas City to visit when you are wanting to enjoy a delicious meal in a classy environment. We started with the Not-So-Standard Potato Chip appetizer served with three sauces. I ordered the 7 ounce Filet with cremini mushrooms, roasted garlic, creamy kale, blue cheese, dijon cream sauce, served on a bed of potatoes. My partner ordered the half grilled chicken entree with a lemon brine & sauce and roasted potatoes. We didn't order dessert, but I have ordered dessert at the mouth watering spot before and you definitely want to end your meal with one! Gram & Dun is also a great spot to go for brunch on the weekend and happy hour M-F 3-5PM. Stop by Gram & Dun in the plaza today!

This place is an excellent add to the Plaza area. An upscale restaurant that has a southern soul about it. Our group ordered 4 completely separate items from the menu, sampled each others food and the overwhelming response was that this food tastes great! The service was a little slow but we were there at prime time so a little leniency was in order. The waiter was quite nice and did time refreshments almost perfectly. The only thing that was a huge distraction was the temperature in the area we were in was like a sauna! Ugh it was sooo hot but the view outside was good from their newly installed great window facing Ward Pkwy. I will definitely revisit this location and hopefully in a more tempered area.

I visited for Sunday brunch and was not disappointed. I started with a Brunch Punch (delicious) and an order of chips (also delicious). The flight of dipping sauces that comes with the not-so-standard potato chips is so good! For my meal I ordered the Banana Cream French Toast. The portion is VERY generous - you basically get two huge french toast banana sandwiches. Our waitress, Heather, was amazing and so kind and just elevated the whole experience. Definitely worth a visit!!

To start off, the atmosphere felt like a farmhouse chic vibe. Our waitress, Sophie was attentive without being overbearing. Finally, the food & drinks were superb! My spouse has been chasing an excellent shrimp & grits for about 8 years since we visited New Orleans & she said she found it! We’re definitely going to upgrade this to our new fine dining options in KC Plaza.

The food and service here were both fantastic. We had a yummy tuna tartare, salad and the burnt ends ends mac & cheese really stood out! Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the hush puppy crab cakes. While we've had better crab cakes in Boston, it had a really unique taste and worked wonderfully as hush puppies. Texas B&G, or biscuits and gravy, also quite good. Not sure why Bama restaurants are the only ones with the sense to cut the biscuits in half, but this was still a tasty and unique dish. Shrimp and grits also very tasty, and we loved the meal. But, this isn't your usual shrimp and grits. The barbecue sauce overpowered the shrimp, but, especially combined with the grits, a successful and tasty dish. The sauce tasted wonderful. Also had The Smoking Dun and the Brunch Punch. Both were pleasantly strong drinks with a bit of sweetness. Overall, really happy we went. It was $50 each with appetizer and drinks, but I think that was a real good price point.

We had the tuna tartar, sushi, hanger steak, and salmon. All were fantastic. Tried the green apple profiterole. Wasn't our favorite - pastry was a little tough and not much cream inside. Otherwise a perfect holiday evening!
