Had a pulled pork sandwich. It was so good. Great flavor profile. The fries looked yummy...wish I had tried them. Next time!

Great burger! Kind of small but extremely delicious. The location on River Market is optimal for a nice setting and the outdoor seating is very pleasant. Fries are bought separately but were really good. Prices are good for the quality and quantity of food, you will not be disappointed! Would love to try something else on the menu soon! 5 stars!

Get the Pigwich! Fantastic pulled pork sandwich! I don't normally like pulled pork with slaw but their slaw is uniquely sweet and savory. Wonderful texture on the smoked pork. Tangy sauce! Meticulous service with a smile. Sweet potato fries were fresh and crispy. Give this place a try!

I went to Pigwich back in August of this year, and that was the very first time I ate there. I was happy to know that Pigwich is partners with the butcher shop Local Pig because there are owned by the same businesspeople. I liked the concept that Local Pig and Pigwich shared with each other, which was that they both specialize in meats from agricultural animals and also making products out of them. Citizens of Kansas City say that Local Pig is the best butcher shop in Kansas City, but I did not order anything from Local Pig when I gave Pigwich a visit. The menu at Pigwich features many different creations of sandwiches that depend on which type of meat is on the sandwich. There was burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, barbecue pork sandwiches, and other types of sandwiches. The sandwich I ordered when I visited Pigwich was the Spicy Meatball Bahn Mi sandwich with Housemade Potato Chips. The potato chips tasted really good with the sandwich I ordered, also the service here was average even though there was a long line inside the restaurant that day. I have to say that I had a nice time eating at Pigwich, and I would eat there again if there wasn’t that long of a line. However, some people say in reviews on Google Maps that a long line at a business tends to have bad service, but I think it depends on what certain way a business is ran. I highly encourage Pigwich and Local Pig to keep up the good work that they perform even no matter how many customers are waiting in line at their businesses.

This place was recommended by a barista at Thou Mayest Coffee shop. I had other plans on where to eat but since we were here at the City Market, I cam across Pigwich and started to read the menu. Wow, all sounded mouthwatering! I was sold. My daugher and I each ordered a sandwhich. She got the Pulled Pork wich and I got the BLTGQ. She enjoyed hers but in all honesty, she's not a big pork eater. I on the other hand enjoyed the bacon pork on my sandwhich with the slightly sweet but tangy bbq sauce. I didn't taste much of the smoked gouda. Couple more slice to balance all that pork. And I expected a big sandwhich but it was small and mostly bread. Hope they can improve meat vs carbs vs dairy as even combo. Overall: 4/5 Good sandwich! Enjoy pics of sandwich shop.

Good BBQ sandwich’s and burger. The food came out pretty fast and had good flavors. The prices were reasonable, with two adults and two kids, a side, drink and tips, it was under $50. The brisket cheesesteak was really good, not pictured.

This was a "random" stop on a road trip that turned out to be just absolutely fantastic. Their menu offers a massive variety of choices, even for vegetarians! The sandwiches we ordered were incredibly tasty, hot and sizable. The fries were some of the best I've ever had and an order is large enough to share. It's a very casual, open place situated right on the edge of a cool craft/farmers market area, so try to plan some time into your visit to explore that too.

Absolutely LOVE this place! We will definitely be craving it once we drive back home. Ate here two days in a row and amazing! Sweet lady at the register too! The big pig and bbw pork brisket and quart of fries 2 fountain drinks and 2 beef herky sticks and tip= $38 super worth it Must try and great ambience indoor or out!

Today was my first visit to Pigwich. There was a line to get in but there are a lot of seats so we were good. We didn't wait long for our food. We got the hottest most delicous box of fries. Even after we had eaten our fries and sandwiches the fries were better than the fries in other establishments. I thanked my friends for bringing me to Pigwich. My sandwich was also delicous. It's nice to feel like you got what you expect to get. Thank you Pigwich.

Great place for a signature burger or sandwich. It is a unique place at the City Market with unique taste. We tried four different choice and two choices of fries. Everything was very good. Best thing it is not a chain. Service was great for a fast food place.

I’m only giving it 4 stars because my brisket pork sandwich was very flavorful. Unfortunately my husband’s chicken sandwich the kids burgers were VERY bland. Sweet potato fries and regular fries were good. With this being a Triple D fav I would have expected more flavor on the other items.

Wow delicious! I've not been here but for today and I'm glad I dropped by. Walking by it for years, I've been missing out. The Pigwich and chips were great and is all I know. Management was great, chill vibe , right in the KC River Market.

Walked in and immediately was greeted by staff. Informed about the special of the day. I got a burger and homemade chips super amazing.... The onion buns really just takes any of these burgers to a new level. My only complaint is that the smell of sewer hits you as soon as you walk in. Portions are huge, price wise you will spend $10-$20 per person. But won't leave hungry..

Absolutley loved this place. Sandwiches were great all around. The sweet potato fries were great and went well with the meal. The buffalo chicken sandwich was a little to much for the litte man and the philly cheese steak sandwich was incredible. I reall enjoyed the tomato and cheese sandwich and the meatball sandwich. Really enjoyed the outdoor seating. The atmosphere in the restaurant is perfect combo for the food.
