The service was IMPECCABLE. Took my wife last week for her birthday and brought in some flowers and a gift early in the day to put on the table for our reservation in the evening. The presentation was spot on and our waitress was fantastic. Food was very good and drinks were solid. They even made a mocktail to my pregnant wife’s liking. 4.5/5 overall. Definitely will be back.

We were in town for a conference and someone from our group recommended this place. Our group really enjoyed our meals. I ordered the salmon and asked them to add the Dijon brown sugar glaze. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the glaze added great flavor. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. I highly recommend and they accommodated our group of 9 with ease. My picture is of my leftovers which speaks to the good sized dinner portions. I will definitely return.

Great happy hour food specials. Chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes with extra cream gravy was delicious. My wife had the ground sirloin and prime rib with special sauce, delicious. Recommend both.

After living here for four years, my fiancé and I finally decided to try Hereford House! We went in one evening unbeknownst to us, about an hour prior to their closing for the evening yet we were still treated with care by our server and hostesses. We were quickly sat at a booth and the hostess suggested we try the dinner-for-two option (which consisted of four courses) despite the fact that they closed in an hour! The portions were great for the pricing and the food was perfect! Way to go!

The food is excellent! We visited for a special anniversary with family. There were seven of us and they put us in our own room. Six of us purchased the meals for two and the choices were great. Please note there are up charges for some items and it was difficult to read on the menu.

In town for the first time for a convention and I tell you I would come back to Kansas City just to experience the amazing waitress Linda A. If you find yourself looking for a nice night out with a loved one, come see Linda A and she will take care of you to a tee. I truly think she should write a book on her hospitality and overall attention to her customer service.

Excellent service, Thanks to our server Linda. Excellent Food Loved the boneless Buffalo wings. The bacon wrapped shrimp is delicious. Nope to the (raw) clams. My wife loved her steak and my burger was cooked to perfection. We will be back.

Came today with my family great customer service. Covid precautions with seating still in place. Enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip and stuffed mushrooms appetizers. For the main course had the rib with dijon mustard and brown sugar glazed enhancement. To be honest the steak flavor was good but the texture could have been way more tender. I love my steak to cut like butter, I had to put some strength into cutting this steak. The mashed potatoes are very good. Recommend making a reservation they tend to be busy.

First time that we visited this place. We arrived at opening time,so we had our section to ourselves. Our waitress ( Lacey )was great, gracious, and helpful with our decisions for our meal. My wife ordered the beef medallion ,and I ordered the short rib tacos, both our meals were excellent.

Good place for dinner. Great choice of entries. Really friendly stuff. We stopped there for dinner and made a mistake by ordering appetizers! Couldn’t finish the main course. We had burger and ribs with a choice of sides. Corn is little bit spicy. But it was delicious!

Went here to eat and celebrate. Lucky for us, we were seated right away and beated the dinner rush too. Our server Nick was great. My date order the prime rib and I order a top sirloin. We also had an appetizer, we always have to tried the calamari. It was fried with jalapeno, spinach and red peppers too. Tomato based sauce went with it too. I love that you can get steak sauce or anything you want. They even got sriracha! Yummy gave a good kick to my steak. Food was good and ambiance was nice too.

First time to this specific location. Food was great. One of the best prime ribs I've had in a long time. Also had the calamari, always good. Enjoyed with a couple glasses of Riesling.

This was a very good place to eat. I got the calamari, oysters and 12oz ribeye. The ranch potato things need work but hey, it’s food. One side of the place is for formal dining and the other half is for the happy hour peasants like myself. You can still order off the high brow menu from the happy hour side. Food was perfect. Waiter was pleasant and kind. If I save up for a few months, I’ll be back again!

We really enjoyed our meal at the Hereford House. We ordered dinner for 2. It is a lot of food! It was a 4 course meal with each course coming out immediately following the other. We were never rushed. The meats were perfectly cooked tender, and tasty.

I have never been here and lived my entire life, other than 4 years in Navy, in KC. How I've missed this gem, I don't know. Got seated as soon as walked through the door. Had a great waitress by the name of Linda A. The A team she said. Haha! I ordered a bottle of beer and started looking over menu. Beer shows up, Linda pours it into a glass for me and I ordered the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. She goes to put it in and I'm still looking over menu for steak options. Boom, she's back with the mushrooms and I'm ready to dive into them. I choose the ribeye so I don't have to mess with bone from the cowboy ribeye and pair it with Oscar enhancement they call toppings. Loaded baked potato and jalapeno cheesy corn with cornbread toppings for my sides. I added a side salad with balsamic vinaigrette to munch on for "healthy"option. Haha! Not 5 minutes later, salad and rolls show up as I'm pushing the delicious stuffed mushrooms back before I fill up on them. Salad was fresh and crisp and the vinaigrette was light and tangy. Perfect! Finish salad and Linda with her A game (see what I did there?), brings out the steak. Beautiful cut with gorgeous potato next to it. She warns me the little iron skillet is hot with cheesy corn in it. Mouth watering doesn't begin to describe it. I dig in like it's the first time eating steak.i had to stop chewing and savor the flavors going on. The potato was equally good. I used the first roll to soak up all the juices. Every little bite was an explosion of flavor. I ate until I couldn't anymore. Had to bring the rest of the mushrooms and roll home. I feel like if I had eaten dessert, they would have had to roll me out in wheelbarrow. Pleasantly stuffed and content.
