We came here a few times as we were staying at the Hilton President. Absolutely loved the vibe and the service was impeccable. I just wasn't a huge fan of the cocktails in their menu. There is quite a variety on the menu and I think it's a really cool vibe in the establishment. Even though I didn't love the cocktails they created, I do think it's a cool place to go and I would recommend. There's a lot of other things to choose from on the menu.

Took my son here 12/21. We are both drummers and thought this would be a cool experience and Drum Room did not disappoint. He had the Salmon, I got the brick chicken. That's a dish that will stay on your mind. Excellent overall experience. You can tell the kitchen is operated by actual chef's. Bar staff were very friendly. We'll be returning for sure. If you're in downtown KC MO and you're looking for actual great food, I highly recommend.

Greta place. The bartender was very nice, good at his work, and he will tell you about the story of the place. The food was very good too.

4.6 average at time of posting seems accurate Pretty small area so I can see it getting busy fast, but a nice very casual spot. Drink was appropriately strong with the cost and taste Good for a small group of people

The drum room not only has a decent dinner selection of delicious food. The whisky and scotch selection is incredible! Many drink choices here. If you aren’t sure what you want or want to just try something new, then this is the place to head.

Lovely chill place to have an evening cocktail with your date on a Sunday. Had The Carioca cocktail, it was smooth and flavorful, the base is made with resposado tequila, chef's kiss so good!

What an amazing piece of Kansas City history! First time here and I recommend anyone who chances to be near this iconic watering hole to stop in. The history is present on the photo walls, the decor, the drinks named after numerous POTUS and celebrities, you can't miss! If Jeff is working as your bartender then your in the bonus round! Dropping knowledge of drinks and history in equal measure. What a class act! Stop by, you won't regret it!

Really cool historic bar room that is fancy and nice place to hangout at. Unfortunately there is no live music going on. The unique cocktails are named after historic people. Some of the bartenders will give great history about the hotel and people who performed there.

Historic spot for a drink. Work allowed me to visit quite frequently , if the budget allowed, I always stayed at this hotel, and the perk is that Drum Room is on the ground floor of the hotel. Great memories!

Tasty food and drinks. Happy hour specials. Vibe inside is great for business, date, or friends. It can get loud easily as it's small and also has a dome-shaped ceiling. Rotating door keeps the temperature neutral inside which is great as I was there last on a cold and windy night.

We happened upon this cozy bar inside the Hilton, and loved every minute of it! Our bartender, Adam, was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He was truly our Bartender Extraordinaire! The drinks were original, and delicious! We got tips about the area and had the most delightful time in the Drum Room! 🥁

I've had it on my list to go to the Drum Room since I moved into the Power and Light building. I went there yesterday evening and loved it. The bartender was very friendly and informational. The cocktails were top-notch!! Can't wait to go back!

A local described The Drum Room to me as “the most underrated bar in the area,” and I’m glad he did! Delicious FDR-themed cocktails (try the Old Fashion and the Patsy!) in a warm, cozy environment. I will absolutely come back next time I’m in Kansas City.
