Honestly, 5 stars isn't a high rating for the experience we had. We were in Kansas city to see a concert and we stopped here before going, went to The show and came back because we enjoyed ourselves and The staff, the food, the beer all beyond amazing. The staff killed it during both of our trips there. Chef Andrew talked us through the beer and our meal (both times). I can't express my appreciation enough for the menu. Candace was so wonderful in taking us through the brewery tour during our first visit and explaining the system used. On our return trip, every penny was worth it for the experience we had both times without hesitation or a second thought about it. We picked up our seats at the kitchen bar/counter space and everyone was just amazing. Plain and simple. I can't express my appreciation enough for everyone that put up with our shenanigans and really went the whole 9 yards for us. Thank you.
This place is fantastic! Their beers are delicious and they have a full bar. Everything I’ve had on the food menu has been amazing and the staff are the best! Definitely a place to check out if you haven’t already.

tasted all beers and each one had much to offer a fine example of the style of beer I was most surprised that with one exception they had almost no after taste and unusual feature but very nice for changing beers and especially enjoying the flavors of their food had a wonderful Caesar salad flashed over the wood flame unique and delicious. the mole was superb loved the beef sandwich and the chicken was the cleanest tasting I have ever had
We ducked in for a beer after a show at Crossroads. We all ordered the IPA ( I can't remember which one) and it was a great beer. The bartender was supper helpful in choosing the beer. I just said I wanted something with a nice hop bite and not too much malty flavor, and he delivered. The atmosphere was laid back, but really nice. The outdoor area is perfect for having a beer on a nice summer night. Loved the graffiti art on the containers outside. Ok, and the bathrooms were beautiful!
First time in today for lunch. The bartender, Carrie was awesome and knowledgeable. She made the experience great. We tried 6 beers, all good to great and true to style. We had the burger, tri tip steak sandwich and the cookies. Amazing food and they gave us a impromptu tour of the brewery! Top notch addition to the KC beer scene. A must visit.

So glad we stopped at a Brewery Emperial. Not only was it kid friendly and the staff was exceptional with my daughter,who is celebrating her birthday, but the food and beer was top notch. I recommend to all.
Loved the ambiance and decor. It's a very nice laid back place and the food was amazing. Their Mojito is my new favorite. We will definitely be going back. The rabbit dish is next on our list.

Good food and one of the best Baltic Porter’s we have ever had. The wait staff was super friendly and loved the atmosphere!

Every time I come here I am never disappointed. The food and beer is always good and this is my new favorite place to come! I can't wait to enjoy it more when I work closer.
The Emperial Burger was cooked to perfection. Add their BBQ sauce for an extra little kick. The staff was so friendly and made me feel like I was their top priority, even when we came in with a group of 15. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend 👌

When I first pulled up and looked at the building, I knew I was in for a treat. I walked in the outdoor area and was told to go left inside of the door to the bar. As soon as I opened the door, I noticed all of the owl decorations. Very rustic inside but very very impressive. The bartender was more than helpful and had a few laughs together. I had a wheat beer on tap, and I ordered a smash burger with only adding grilled jalapeños to the burger. I had the option of regular fries or Parmesan fries so, of course, why not choose Parmesan? I found myself amazed with all of the different decoration from everything to look at on the ceiling to how the bar top was constructed out of wood and concrete countertop, as my food got there, of course I had to take a picture and then dive in. When I say, this is the best burger that I’ve ever had, it’s not just the dispensary down the street hyping it up. The most amazing crispy Parmesan fries I’ve ever had. The burger was hands-down, the best burger. The bun was toasted to perfection. I even found myself not wanting to use ketchup to take away from the originality of the fries and no they didn’t pay me to write this. Five on atmosphere, five on food, five on service and five more altogether just because I am so wowed!! Plus full. MUST TRY
This place is awesome. I had the greatest experience with Rob? ( I think that’s his name) He provided the best service with the best vibe and energy. Beer was great! I enjoyed it so much, I ended the night with a little tattoo to commemorate the experience.
The team at Brewery Emperial is friendly and helpful! I would come back time and again just to hang out with them. The food is also wonderful - much better than your normal bar food. Also, as a woman, I really appreciate the attention to detail in their restrooms - always clean and fully stocked.
A small brewery in downtown KC with a kitchen putting out great food. Burgers and garlic parmesan fries are a must do! Great beer options, including a wonderful imperial stout.

An amazing brewery restaurant with beautiful patio!! The self-service ordering was super easy and prompt. Amazing atmosphere and vibes to hangout with your friends and close friends.
I seriously enjoyed this! The atmosphere was hometown bar (which I love)...the music was punk 80s...the service was pleasant and knowledgeable...the food was surprisingly outstanding. I had the fish and chips and the fried pickles. Generous portions and tasty!
Now for the beer!!❤️. The Ursula Major was chocolate with bitter coffee after tones. Slightly sweet and just plain delicious! They also make a lovely Hendricks G&T.
bE has the best beer in Kansas City Missouri and hands-down one of the top five brewmasters in the country Keith Thompson the staff is awesome. The management is always right on it’s a family on business. You haven’t tried the Smashburger it rocks any of their specials are amazing. The soups are so delicious and farm to table. Best outdoor seating and it’s so private for a party. A must.
The ranch dressing rocks and it’s really hard to get - all fresh!

Brewery Emperial is a fantastic spot to grab a drink outside on a covered & colorful patio! The beer is tasty and so are the plates. The bratwurst with sauerkraut had everyone jealous they didn’t order it. 10/10 recommend! The potato salad served with the bratwurst was fabulous. You can even order your food and drinks on an app so you don’t have to wait on the server on a busy night! If you are looking for a plate to share with the table, order a side of fries with a few different dips or the pretzel appetizer.
Several beer styles to choose from, food is pretty good. Spacious outdoor area with plenty of shade.
Stumbled upon this brewery while walking around the crossroads looking for a place to eat. Sat down at the bar and ordered a burger that ended up being fantastic. The service was a little spotty but the food and atmosphere made up for it.
I really enjoyed my time at Brewery Emperial. Nestled in downtown KCMO but fenced off in a way that you don't feel surrounded by buildings yet you can hear the hustle and bustle going on outside. The beer was tasty and there was an adequate variety to choose from. They also have a serve yourself water tap which I really enjoyed. The food was fantastic. The Emperial burger had the perfect flavor and juiciness. The Brussel Sprouts were roasted really well and also had a surprising amount of flavor to then. The parmesian fries were parmesian fries, nothing wrong there. The waitress and staff were attentive and quick to fulfill requests. You should stop by and give the place a try.
Very solid. Great beer, food was hot and delicious. Personally don't love the app-only ordering, just changes the interaction and atmosphere. I think they're so busy they have to go this way - but try to sit inside at the bar for a better experience.
The beers here are very yummy. The outside area is fantastic. You can sit and enjoy delicious food. You enter your order into the computer and they bring it right to your table. Highly recommend
I highly recommend coming here for beer, cocktails and food. Great staff and enjoyed everything. Fried pickles rock. Ginger Dandy, Manhattan, cherry chocolate funk were all fantastic.

We made a point to come over here for lunch on Black Friday as first timers. It wasn't very crowded and ribs were the speciality on Friday. So we split a burger/fries and had an order of ribs/beans/fries. The burger and fries were very good and we enjoyed it very much. The ribs were excellent and riveled other local BBQ restaurants easily. We had a couple of raspberry ales which were nice and sour. If I had any criticism it would be that they were a little pricey but that was easily overshadowed by the food and service...both excellent.
Always a great place to visit with friendly staff, amazing food, and great beer! So glad they are also pup friendly!
