This place is scrape-your-plate-delicious!!! I walked-in thinking I'm not terribly hungry, I'll just get a little bite, I took my first bite of the white rice and realized I may not have ordered enough! By the end of my plate I was stuffed but would have kept going, it, was so good! Along with the amazing food, the staff was happy to explain everything and answer any questions. Just a FANTASTIC experience!!!

Don't walk.... RUN! Man. The beans and rice taste exactly how my mom made them growing up. The beef empanada are spot on perfection.

The chicken arepa was amazing. I also bought the chicken empanada which was ok. Not worth 6 dollars though. It also sucks that you have to pay for parking. 7 dollars for 30 minutes is crazy. Will probably go back but have someone stay in the car to not have to pay for parking. Also they close at 6 pm Monday through Friday not 4 pm how it states in Google.

What a great little gem of a restaurant. Offers the tastes of South America. Sampled multiple entrees and all were very well done and had excellent flavors. Nothing too spicy for those that might shy away but they do offer three types of sauces mild, medium, and spicy to accompany your fish. Food costs are medium. Dessert was good and topped off the lunch. Highly recommend.

Take a trip through South American cuisine by having a meal here. Never had an empanada before. I love them. Nothing fancy here. Just friendly folks who take pride in the food they prepare for their guests.

Authentic and delicious. Items are fresh. The Venezuelan ice tea was refreshing. Well worth the price.

We went here spur of the moment after looking at several other nearby restaurants and to make matters worse we arrived 5 minutes before closing. We weren't familiar with this type of food but thought we would give it a try. The restaurant was busy and there was only one waitress who was multi tasking big time. We had seen comments in earlier reviews regarding the speed of service due to this situation. Anyway, service was a little slow but she was very kind, attentive and apologetic. We tried a couple of different menu items and thought they were excellent. We never felt rushed despite the restaurant being closed by now and took a little extra time to enjoy the ambience. Overall, we enjoyed this experience very much and will return to explore some new menu items in the near future.

You can really tell they put love into every bite! The food is delicious and comforting. I wish more people knew about this place and venezuelan cuisine in general. It's the only spot in town to get amazing arepas! This time I had the taqueños and empanadas to go for convenience and they were oh so fresh and hot!

Always delicious! The service was absolutely fine. There was a large party inside, so that occupied most of the servers' time. When they were with us, they were attentive and very nice. It is a small place with a limited number of tables. It's a quaint spot. Clean and generally maintained, though not flamboyant or exciting. Which is absolutely fine because the food is the real star and the food if wonderful!

I was convinced by the girlfriend to check this place out because it was excellent! As I was browsing the menu the Cuban sandwich stood out to me and I had to have it. This thing was excellent! Piled full of meats, pickles, tomato and sauce which all combined perfectly. It had a small salad on the side as well. Of course, with the star of the show in the name of the restaurant, I had to try an empanada. I opted to go with a breakfast version that was also delicious and filling! Make the trek down Southwest boulevard to give this place a try!

Southwest Trafficway is loaded with authentic Cultural food choices. Empanada Madness is amount one of the best we have had yet. With two locations it was A safe bet that it was above average so my family gave it a try. Surprisingly our youngest daughter whom is normally very picky tried something outside the box and ended up loving the fresh made corn flautas. We all tried something different and found that every style of meat was flavored to perfection. The restaurant is a little small so eating in during dinner might be hard. The staff while very friendly struggled understanding at times what we were asking for. Overall the food was amazing and we would highly recommend it.

The food was great here! We came late, around 720 and they close at 8. I was still finishing my food at 755 but they weren't pushy at all. I had the Colombian bandeja paisa. Everything was really delicious. The chorizo was perfectly grilled and the chicharron was perfectly fried. The rice, arepa, and beans were really good as well. I think the patacon was a little bit too thin but flavor was great. The carne asada was good, a little too much fat for my tastes but still very good.

I had no idea empanadas could be this good. Crispy, delicious, savory but light. My wife liked her arepa, but admitted that she regretted not getting the empanadas. Only negative is the employees (no identifying uniforms or anything) were all sitting around a table eating, and acted annoyed when we went to the register and waited for service instead of just assuming they were on-duty employees. Weird, but a minor inconvenience for the fantastic food.

The Chicken Empanada was tasty! The beef was another yummy one. The Potatoes and cheese empanada wasn't that yummy. It was basically mashed potatoes in an empanada. I was expecting pieces of potatoes. Otherwise, Beans and rice we're good!
