I almost wanted to give this place a 3 just because the ½ and ½ curdled in my coffee.. anyone who loves breakfast needs a good coffee. However, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt since the coffe was not "see through". So the coffee probably had decent flavor had the non expired creamer not botched it for me. I got the turkey provolone omelet w/sourdough bread (and most likely pace salsa). It was a reasonable sized omelet and was pretty darn good. The turkey was moist. The spinach was good and the avocado slices on top were a nice touch. Bf got the BIG JOHN full size.. it's a LOT of food. Gravy was fair as I tried it but I could tell his over easy eggs were cooked to perfection. Waitress was nice. It's a small joint, but worth trying out I suppose if you don't put ½ and ½ in your coffee.

This is s true diner. The food was good, but the server was pretty abrupt and was constantly hovering, to the point of feeling uncomfortable.

We stopped here for breakfast, and it was a treasure of a find. The small cafe feeling with really good food. Great service. I would go back here if ever in the area again. It's a small place, but we were seated without waiting.

Excellent food and service. Jerry.....your restaurant is On point. Fire! Owner is so passionate about his restaurant. Nice and personable. Came in with a coupon 12:30p on 7.18.21. Jerry took coupon with a smile. I ordered patty melt. It melted in my mouth. Onion rings crisp. Big Pancake came in a pizza box. LOADED Fries good. Hashbrowns.bacon.eggs was favorable. I'm a Melanin woman. I'm telling u the food was Seasoned right.

Had the Philly Omelet special, it was alright, wasn't as good as a Philly sandwich. The biscuits and gravy was excellent. The Big Biscuit has slightly better biscuits, but Jerry's gravy blows them away, for a much better combination. The Pancake comes on a pizza pan (suggested serving it with a pizza cutter as well) , had a good flavor and texture. Wasn't as fluffy as some pancakes, but I prefer the less fluffy pancake.

I love this place. Has the best cinnamon rolls, get them warmed up with butter. I get the big John everytime. Went this weekend for the first time in 10 years since I moved away and it was still excellent! Hash browns are killer too. Get the big John!

We wanted a good breakfast and we wanted a local restaurant so after a quick search on Google we found Jerry's Cafe. Small but don't let that drive you away. Wide variety of menu items so I went with the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs with a single biscuits and gravy. Much bigger than I expected and the sausage gravy is some of the best I have ever had. Daughter had french toast and that was amazing as well. Stop by there if you don't want the chain store food and a place with character.

Awesome breakfast!!! My daughters and I stopped in after the KC Color Run all covered in goop and powder and were greeted with smiles and an invitation for a table. The place is small, and it was packed!!! We love community restaurants like this! The owner was kind to my girls and even surprised one of them with a root beer float...because nothing says breakfast like a root beer float! London scramble was on point and the steak and eggs (2x) (MR with over easy) was perfect! Only posting a S&E pic bc the others pics have the girls. Tables were turning left and right...and everyone seemed to know one another If you like a diner-feel, this is a definite MUST. Per some on the negative review people, if you don't like diners, don't go. We LOVED it here and will definitely be back soon!

The food was amazing!! The waitress was very kind and didn't rush us even though we walked in about 30 minutes before they closed. Very large omelets and the biscuits were phenomenal!

Absolute terrible server but I give them 4 stars because the food wasn't bad and the lady cooking was VERY nice! My receipt says Amber so I'm going to call her Amber. She is the most rudest and careless person. I ordered my food specifically with no bread I put emphasis on the "no bread" when I ordered because I intended to order a side of French toast. But Amber put my order in as sub French toast with the meal so I did not get a full serving. I never said sub she NEVER heard me say the word sub. When I explained to her that I ordered French toast, and not a side of French toast she got argumentative. She even printed my receipt to show me what I ordered. She had a major attitude while I sat there and waited for what I actually ordered and not what she wrote me up for. I even heard her tell the cook that I requested butter on my toast. That's not what I said. I said the butter she put in my container was opened and empty. Like it was someone's trash. The nice lady that was cooking brought me my food and apologized for the inconvenience(and made sure i had butter and syrup, which Amber didn't give me the first time). Now that I've gotten in my vehicle and left for the second time I realize Amber didn't give me my drink that I ordered. Although she can print out a receipt showing that I ordered a meal to sub French toast she could not look on that same receipt and see that she rung me up for a drink she never gave me. So I go back in for the third time and she rolled er eyes at me as if she didn't want to see me. So I said you forgot to give me my drink. She handed me my drink with no apology no remorse. Amber, if this is the attitude your going to carry in life, you need to find another job outside of customer service. Maybe try a collections agency. But either way you're not going to make it far in life at all if you can't own up to your mistakes and get mad at people when YOU make a mistake.

One of my favorite breakfast places every, not just in the KC metro. Their hash browns are very unique and crispy just the way I like it and their biscuits and gravy are amazing!
