Great corned beef was amazing I have tried just about everything on the menu and I have never been disappointed the service was not very good but I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants authentic Irish food
Loved it. The atmosphere was amazing. The people fun an helpful. We asked for a suggestion on what to eat they recommend the fish an chips an we were not disappointed. Tried a new drink did not like. So they brought me something else no questions asked. An I loved it. The music was to die for. " emmett o'hanlon " couldnt have asked for a better show . Next time will try the shepards pie. Definitely will be going back...
Love, love, loved this place! The food was delicious and this is only place in the states I've found Smithwyck Pale Ale on draft. And the staff is top notch.
Amazing service, beautiful waitress, great atmosphere. The food was stellar, and the Executive Chef took pride in his work and ensured the highest quality food was delivered! I highly recommend this top notch establishment.
This is not my first culinary excursion to The Dubliner. However, it is my first visit since the pandemic. Some of the dining areas were 🚫 off but the atmosphere was still warm and jovial.
I ordered my all time favorite, Shepherds 🥧. Very 😋 with bits of 🥕 , 🌽 and juicy lamb and beef. My stomach and heart were warm & full. My only caveat was that it was a bit salty. I have a slight salt aversion, if you will.
It was around 1:00 PM and the restaurant was mostly full. Once they clicked on the 📺 to some sports event the level of excitement seemed to increase exponentially. The Dubliner is a lovely Irish Pub with a family friendly feel to it.
You can't go wrong with the food, service, or atmosphere!
Came here to pregame with my boo before the Chevelle show with a pint of Guinness. We had Rubens for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The house was packed, service was a little bit slow but the bar staff were phenomenal and kept the beer coming.
This was our first stop for dinner in KC for a business trip, and it was absolutely amazing. I'll be tempted to skip the famous KC barbecue and come back here again before we leave because everything, start to finish, was amazing. From the minute you walked in, it felt like Dublin. The pub had all the right feels, smells, and atmospheres to make us miss Ireland. We had some Magners and ordered the soft pretzel, corned beef and cabbage, and a burger with fries. It was all perfect. The pretzel was large, soft, and well salted. The mustard was slightly sweet and not overpowering like some are. My fiancé said his burger was unusually good, just a well made, well seasoned burger, and they had nice crispy seasoned fries. My corned beef didn't even need a sauce it was so good, but the sauce was great nonetheless. The broth was flavorful but not too rich, and all the veggies were cooked perfectly. I really can't praise this place enough. I hope I return, or at least, my review makes someone stop in and give it a try.
Omg the food is amazing!! I highly recommend the corned beef and cabbage! The beef brisket and fish and chips were also excellent. The atmosphere and decor are an experience you will certainly enjoy!
This was a nice place to visit - good food, good drinks, and friendly staff. The fried artichoke hearts were delicious! We went on Valentines night and it wasnt very busy. The entire area was rather quiet that night. We will visit again!
Good little Irish-type pub in the P&L District (the only draw back); otherwise, good food and great service.
... edit - August 2018 - one should never serve a salad on narrow plate. it is nearly impossible to wrangle
Our server was very pleasant and was very knowledgeable about the menu. We had the Bangers and Mash, Chicken Nachos, Fish n Cips, and the Rueban sandwich. Everything was outstanding. Take the family. You won't regret it
Absolutely amazing drinks and Irish food that was just as delicious. Speaking as someone who has enjoyed good time in Dublin, this was a true taste of the Emerald Isle again, complete with that same fantastic service. Rick in particular was not only attentive and amiable, he was also set to make you feel right at home. I highly recommend the Smithwick's Irish Ale and the Steak Sandwich, although the entire menu is appetizing! The prices are reasonable for the quality of what you get, and 5 stars aren't enough!
The food and beer were good. It was a light crowd the day before St. Pats. Day. Seating was limited to just bar height tables for our party of 7.
I supported this restaurant for the first time during restaurant week and I am so impressed. When I walked in I was pleasantly greeted and led to the bar. The guy at the bar was a gem..so sweet polite and funny...I will definitely go back and the Reuben egg rolls are amazing
Very good food and drinks. Staff was so friendly and had a great casual feel I was hoping for.
We come here every year. This is a key stop on our bar crawl we do. They have a great selection of Irish beers and whiskeys.
Had a large party of 10 with only 1 cook at lunch time and they cranked it out! Great service too!
We ate here on a Friday evening around 7. The sign said to seat yourself, so we picked a table. We were never greeted after sitting there for at least 5 minutes and 2 different servers walking past us. So we got up and picked a seat at the bar instead. The service at the bar was quick and friendly. We ate bangers and mash (just ok...the bangers were fairly dry) and fish & chips (easily the best fish & chips I've ever eaten - this is the main reason I give this place 4 stars instead of 3). We would return for the fish & chips.
Fantastic food! Great atmosphere! Great service!! The food is really awesome! The fish and chips and reubens are my favorite! They also have a really great beer list!
Great food and curtious staff. Taking all the precautions for covid.
UPDATE: Great Rubens before a concert across the street. Great service even though it was packed.
