In-a-tub - Kansas City - Photo album

I've been here twice. In A Tub is a pretty unique experience from a menu standpoint. Service is super friendly. I think the place has been here for a long time based on a local recommendation. The whole reason to come here is for the deep fried tacos. They're great. My second visit I brought my vege
This place is unapologetically greasy, cheesy, and down right good. I understand why it has been around for so long. I loved my tacos and burger pocket. It is so old school, you know exactly what kind of food you’ll be getting as soon as you walk through the doors. I loved every bite I had. I can’t
Let's go! This is a top-tier pork tenderloin sando! It's hot and fresh every time. I love this place. Try it!
First time I've eaten at this KC landmark. The tacos were delicious, the burgers loose meat and quite good. Everything was cheap, also, so really got good value. Really enjoyed the experience, even though it was getting late and almost closing time. Damn good tacos (the tops are fried closed, so it
My family and I were in town from Springfield IL for a volleyball qualifier for my daughter and we were searching for places to eat lunch at and we ran across this restaurant. Let me tell you this was a great place to eat at. The employee asked if it was our first time here and we told her yes and s
A must try KC Northland experience. The tacos are crunchy and cheesy and amazing.
One of my favorite places to go when I'm up by the airport. They have the best tacos that are fried and have some crazy cheese powder . Yummy 😋
4 tacos and a pocket burger. That's what I crave when I'm super hungry and in the mood for classic, deep fried, mac and cheese powder tacos from an old school KC staple. Family that runs it is also awesome. 😁
Tacos & onion rings? This was not at all what I expected when I chose this place. I chose it because of decent ratings on Google maps but mainly because they support a cycling team. I went inside to get a better feel for the offerings and the order taker was very helpful. I had a standard taco and a
Quick service, very friendly staff, good food! Someone who had a drive through order left without their mushrooms and the staff offered us the mushrooms for free. Very delicious. Hot fudge sundaes here are exquisite
Delicious tacos! This drive thru restaurant in northern KC near Barry Road is billed as a Mexican restaurant but has a nice variety of menu items (zoom in on the pic of the counter). They are famous for their tacos, which are fried and come with powdered nacho cheese on top. Definitely worth trying!
First time eating here and was definitely happy with it. The tacos and fried mushrooms were awesome. The prices are sooooo cheap, and service was super fast. Will definitely be going back!
I know "powdered cheese" may not sound appealing but you just HAVE to try them if you get the chance. Only downside is they are pretty busy sometimes but that should just tell you that you aren't making a mistake. Regular tacos - extra hot. That's really all you need to know but if you are want some
Great fried food! The tacos are a must have. I also had a "pocket burger". It was delicious, but I would advise against storing one in your pants pocket regardless of what it's called. The onion rings are some of the best I've had.
A Kansas City icon, their food is made to order and is always hot and fresh! The deep fried tacos are the best, and are pretty unique to In a Tub. I moved to North Carolina a few years ago, and although we fry anything in the south, I've only found one place with tacos even close to these...Jack in
I absolutely adore this place when I’m up in this area. It’s close to the airport and fast before or after a long trip. Something about a soft meat burger and a deep friend taco. SO GOOD. Also corn nuggets. Need I say more?
Food was great, wish the tacos had a little bit more powdered cheese though. We like to come here every other week or so. The burger pies and tenderloins are excellent as well.
