Headrush is hands-down my favorite place to get coffee in Kansas City! I go to school out of town and I love it so much that I make a point of stopping by for a latte and some espresso beans every time I am home! I have never had a drink I didn't like here (though the caramel rush is my favorite) and the staff are always so friendly. You're definitely missing out if you haven't tried Headrush yet!
My absolute favorite place to grab a drink! I'm not a coffee fan, but they have the best assortment of teas! Lavender or blueberry matcha bubble tea latte is my guilty pleasure �

Just stopped by for the first time. Went through the drive-thru. I got a nutty berry rush iced latte. Fantastic! Run, do not walk, to this place. Yum!

First time trying and I had the pumpkin head iced latte! Way better than Starbucks!! I absolutely love it! I will definitely be coming back! Feel so welcomed and very friendly staff! Owner is amazing as well!
Had the honey latte iced today and was so good! I love honey more than bees do! Love this place. No bitter after taste like a Star or grounds like Bou!
I discovered Headrush two years and fell in love with the matcha tea lattes. Excited to hear they have a second location!

Being a previous owner of a coffee shop and roastery I found this place to provide top quality coffee and service. They roast a coffee right in the shop so you know you're getting a fresh product. The atmosphere is eclectic and local. It made me feel like I was part of the community and I was just stopping by my normal coffee shop in the morning. We enjoyed conversation with the barista and the coffee was fantastic. If you're ever in the Kansas City area and you're looking for a great cup of coffee I would recommend headrush roasters.
Headrush is a gem! They have great coffee & their potato burrito was super good too. Staff was super friendly as well. Literally sat here for over an hour playing a game of scrabble with the kids. An owner (I think) even bought us some muffins while we played. Such a nice place & one we will frequent.
I came in to grab something quickly before moving on to work from home but the vibe was so excellent so I decided to stay for the afternoon and work here! Not too loud, lovely plants and art all around, great coffee, sweet baristas. I had an almond croissant the size of my FACE and one of the holiday-flavored drinks (vanilla coriander latte) and they were great. I also bought a couple ounces of loose-leaf tea at gifts for some friends. Will definitely be back to work/create.
I’m obsessed with this place. A very bad addiction to their coffee and pop tarts. Everything is from scratch and the matcha is original. The staff are very friendly and caring and I love the owners. Really good people work here. I will keep coming here daily until I can no longer fit in my jeans 🤣
Love this place!!! The people are amazing, so friendly and helpful. Unlike other places, they have a TON of sugar-free flavors. I got a latte with sugar-free Irish Cream and it was delicious!!! Also got a fresh croissant that was buttery and flakey like it is supposed to be. Yum!
The last (and first) time I drove thru at Head Rush, they made a leaf design on the top of my latte that was so pretty! It was the first time I've ever had a fancy design on a latte. The barista made sure to show me before she put the lid on. She made me feel so special!
I can't wait to go back. We need one of these places in Parkville!
I was there almost a month ago, came when it was super quite...started to snow! Just after Thanksgiving.
I loved the display of all their products and the abundance of Cakes, danishes, scones and bliss ball. Bryan ( hope spelled correctly☺) was the dearest to help me out to try and experience the taste of their beans at its best in finding for me the best coffee variation.

As a pastry Chef from europe its all a bit on the sweet side......nonetheless, that is my taste and favourite, so i can't and shouldn't complain about the freshly made baked goods.

This is old location of Headrush, but always popular, because they making great coffee. People are nice and friendly and know what they are doing which I really appreciate. Also, don’t forget to ask about their loyalty program- every 10th coffee for free…
Amazing coffee. Really smooth. Family run - wonderful owners. You can also buy your own custom roasted coffee beans here. One of the top coffee houses in KC with their own roasting mechanisms. Ask for a list of coffee places in town for a “KC caffeine crawl”.
I don't go into coffee shops often, but went with my niece. I loved the menu as it was easy to read and understand (very handy if you love coffee but aren't an expert!) the coffee was fantastic and they have a very cozy little area to drink coffee inside. I also loved that the coffees looked beautiful before we enjoyed them!

Love going to this place to treat myself on occasion. I get the lavender matcha with almond milk... takes me back to being in Vietnam!
Drinks were amazing, breakfast treats were delicious, and the service was on point! Great place to stop and get an iced coffee to keep me going for the day!
