The best place for burgers in town under new management they bring the burger with smokers and perfect customer service I would go back because my food was worth it!!!
Had the Danger Zone Burger despite the warning from our waitress. It was pretty good, and despite my eyes watering and nose running, I finished the whole thing. The fries were not well cooked, but had decent seasoning, and they have a lot of good looking specialty burgers, so I would like to try this place again for a second opinion.

Excellent burgers, phenomenal phillies, the fries were like five guys but actually crispy and delicious. Price was excellent for huge portions. We will be back.

Very Not Bad. The burgers are good, not great. The service is fair. The decor and atmopshere are meh. The prices, if you do the specials, are great. It won't win any awards, but it will make for a happy tummy.
Prerequisite: Go hungry!!!! (or if your like me and my husband share or expect to eat now and eat more later!!! Must try my fav Mediterranean Philly (I recommend extra olives and extra blue cheese)!!! But, always a but, I have never had a bad meal here!! Literally Smoked and Stamped Burgers (Crunch or avocado especially) are undeniably awesomeness!! As well as gyros!!!! (tacos are pretty good as well.) Must have poppers for starters!! And CAN NOT forget the strawberry shake!!! Little secret... If you go on the right day with the right server you can get a coffee shake that must be from another world it's so good!!! If you don't try KC Smoke, you miss out on KC's Best Burger/Philly!!!
OMG! Had an entertainment coupon and decided to try . Service was great ... ambiance quirky and fun. Staff friendly and efficient I had the gyro burger.... yummy! Definitely would go back... only next time we will share this find with our friends. A MUST-GO-TO PLACE!!

Fun little place with vintage/antique kitchen wares all over, they kind of made me think of a fair pavilion. Plus, they brand your burger bun at your table before you eat, which is kind of kitschy and fun.

Destroyed by the Challenge Burger. Let me preface this by saying i am not a ninny when it comes to spice. I grow my own habaneros, cayennes and scotch bonnets. I like it hot. However, the challenge burger was too much. We stopped in on a Monday night for the BOGO burger deal. Most of the standard burgers are on the list, but the challenger was not. Once i read about the challenger burger and saw the promise of a t-shirt upon completion, i was all in. The server brought me out the waiver to sign before eating fire; i laughed at this puny waiver as i have signed them before with no issues. We had the challenger and the avocado burger. As said by others, the presentation coming out of the kitchen is a thing of beauty. The heaping portion of fresh cut fries next to the burgers on a mini-smoker looked wonderful and tasted better. Six bites into the challenger, i was bested. My legs were tingling and lips were swelling. I could take no more punishment. The small bite of avocado burger that i tasted was good, but i was unable to taste anything for a while. The service was great. They kept the iced tea coming and made sure i was still upright. Overall i had a great time and want to go back and have something that will not make me yak afterwards. (yes, i yakked, it was painful and has never happened with spicy food w/o alcohol mixed in). Great place! It's worth a try.
Delicious!. My friend and I literally slammed on our breaks when we saw this sign the other day and it's a good thing we did! We were originally headed down the street to another sandwich place when I said "i really want a cheeseburger today..." and saw this place. I had the bacon cheeseburger and she had the firey smokey burger--they were both awesome! Also, their fries are really good! We wanted to try a milk shake, but thought we'd busted our guts enough, so we abstained. If you want a really great burger go here!! Also, the waitstaff is very friendly and eager to make your experience enjoyable! We're definitely going back!
One Dimensional. Here the burger patty itself is the star and comes out to the table in a grand presentation. Outside of that, everything else is standard.
A Very Pleasant Surprise. I only found this hidden jewel through a group coupon from my muncharoo. Tucked away on 39th St., this place makes some great burgers. Individually prepared to order in their own mini smoker.Served in this smoker at your table, your waitress unveils it & places it on a fresh bun branded with their logo. I had the double cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese. Served with all the condiments this is a plump juicy burger. You need to be pretty hungry tp eat a double though. I will definitely go again & probably try the philly, I saw one & it also looked outstanding. Highly Recommended.

GREAT FOOD , bad decor. The burger was so much better than I anticipated, but the decor was so out of place.
I didn't find it as appropriate at maybe the owners did, but something about cardboard cut outs, be it food/dead celebrities/ or NASCAR.... Yea no, it doesn't mix.
Strip all that unnecessary fill-in "we're an american burger joint" and you've got a REALLLLY good burger, I love the porta-grills they serve your burger on. The fries were a little chewy but didn't loose flavor and not the best I've had. But I will recommend this. For a Cheeseburger, fries, and a Tea that IMOP tastes just like the green tea you buy from world market. Which I like.
Don't pass this place up, while it lasts.
Blows Fric and Frac out of the water!!!. I almost let that blogger's review scare me off and I'm so glad I didn't. The picture on his site is NOTHING like what we were served. These burgers are monstrous and absolutely delicious. (Plus they pile on the bacon, which is always great.) Oh, and the curly fries have some sort of tasty seasoning that I've never had before. Yeah, the decor is really weird but I think it's kind of funny and charming. Do yourself a favor, give them a shot! Finally, a good burger joint in walking distance from my house.
New burger joint i found. Today was my third visit this week to kc smoke burgers and it just keeps getting better. The first 2 times i tried the basic all american cheese burger with the works but today i think i just found my new best friend!! the grilled chicken brest burger is to die for! 5 stars highly recomend this place to anyone trying to get a quick bite to eat during lunch or on the way home.

KC Smoke Burger. A few friends and I were in the area when we all had decided that we wanted to try the new burger place that opened up on 39th st. and though the arts on the wall are different to the eye, the food was delicious. Two of us opted for the danger zone burger which is probably the most mouth burning burger on the list; I think that the waiter had a blast watching us trying to eat our burgers down and after watching me suffer enough they were nice enough to offer me a new burger on them. though i should have said yes and taken it home. I opted no at the moment because all i was seeing that time was habenaro. Another friend asked for the lamb burger which she said was delicious. One thing we did notice was that the burgers were not and did not drip with oil, they were just right. I even asked for mine to be over done and they gladly did so. Our waiter told us that all the meat was made to order. Everything they have is fresh to order which is not what we are seeing anymore. We are excited to see a new burger joint in the area. I think it brings in a different kind of burger to the area rather than the usual oil dripping burger. They had a wide selection of options for you burger so one can be creative. I will most definitely be back for more danger zone.
Was over at kc smoke burgers two nights ago with some friends and we all had a great experience. I had the Philly steak which was delicious, my friends Had the burgers which they also enjoyed. The service was great. We thought the theme in the restaurant was exciting. We will defiantly be back.
Located on the Main Street with a bit limited parking but not that bad. Chicken wings were outstanding. Burgers were okay , halal burgers and halal bacon, but burgers seems to be missing the wow factor. I didnt find enough jalapeños in my fire burger. Fries were fresh and tasty , fries toppings spice was really good that we had to order extra . Good quantity and clean and fresh food. Great serving presentation. Bathroom was cleaned. 12-14 seating tables. When serving, the knifes were facing the customer. The restaurant seems busy with take away orders as well. Thanks for the “ thanks giving “ kids crayon coloring activity. Music was a bit louder, might be too early for Christmas songs. Kids like sword on top of the burgers. Their menu is affordable with variety of food including appetizers and seafood option. Lobby was clean and tidy. Our host was also accommodative and welcoming. Plenty of foundation drinks options as well.

They have the BEST CHICKEN TENDERS I’ve ever had! They kind of remind me of CHICKEN-FIL-A but better! They were hot, fresh, tender, really juicy & flavorful! They aren’t shy on the fries; they don’t skimp on the fries no matter what you get! Those were delicious too! They have great dipping sauces! I haven’t tried my burger yet but I’m sure that’s delicious too! Everything was close to perfection! FOOD WAS SO GOOD I WAS HAVING A FOODGASM 😂

Cool little burger shop with a nice menu. Orings and poppers were of the frozen variety, not handmade, but were good. The burger sandwich was very good, but the meat is very, very cooked. Pink has left the building.

First time being here and it was an okay experience. I had the chicken philly which was just okay to me. I wish the chicken had been a little juicer and more cheese had been added. I added lettuce and tomato which gave it a fresh taste. My brothers LOVED the burgers and will definitely be back for those. The patties were surprisingly thick! The restroom definitely needs some attention because it seemed more like a dungeon. However the staff was friendly and attentive and the restaurant was clean.
I came here with my sisters a few years back (sorry for the very late review!). This place could be completely different now, but when I was there, it was fantastic. The smell is great when you walk in. Their burgers are on point, and their fries are amazing as well! I definitely recommend this place to burger loves near and far. I had a great experience!
Its actually a really good place to eat! Server was attentive and polite. I ordered the double cheeseburger and took like 4 bites and was full! The biggest cheeseburger I've had in awhile! This place is my new favorite burger place🥰. I will be going back. Also side note if you want a drink you may want to just get water as it is 4$ a soda pop.
My friends from out of town and I visited this spot and enjoyed everything thoroughly. Super convenient that they're open quite late, with the bars around the way. Fast turnaround, and generous portions. Nice people, and I'd like to try more items when I come back 🙂

A Smoking Burger
I love quiet, middle of the week discoveries. Today I tried KC Smoke Burger Group. Located on the busy 39th street strip of businesses. A sign stated “Under New Management,” which gave me a new challenge.
Pros-
Decorated in a simple, cowboy theme, there were plenty of large tables for parties of four as well as smaller seating tables.
I was the only guest so wait time was not a problem.
I kept my order simple, a burger with swiss cheese. The meal came with fries.
The impressive presentation of the burger on a little smoker grill when brought to my table, was neat. The waitress then placed the generous sized hamburger on the bun. Served with a side of lettuce, tomatoes and pickles, it turned out to be very tasty.
The seared ‘KC’ on the bun is a catchy touch.
With a price tag under 10.00 it was worth the stop.
Cons-
The waitress should have come back at least twice to check on me; shortly after delivering the meal and half way through. A different person asked how I enjoyed my meal, but it felt more like an afterthought after seeing me there.
Overall: I would return again to try a different item on the menu.

Why have I waited so long to try KC Smoke Burger on 39th Street? It is EXCELLENT. My niece eats nothing but burgers so I brought her here for our Girls' Day. On Tuesday and Wednesday it's 2-for-1 cheeseburgers. It comes with the fries and a drink for about $15! Excellent deal! These are some of the best burgers in KC and I'm sorry, but better than Flea Market. They seem kind of generic when it comes out - iceberg lettuce, thick slice of tomato, lots of raw white onions, and pickles. But these burgers are excellent! They're very charred but not overcooked or dry. The bun is delicious and has the char from the branded stamp which makes them not only lookers but adds a welcome level to the burger. The fries were really fresh and they're seasoned, but not over-seasoned. It didn't seem like much but neither of us could finish our meals. Parking is street parking and the entrance is semi-accessible. Once inside, there's a ramp to the seating area and cash register. We sat outside on the patio. Service was very friendly and great. Staff were practicing COVID protocols. We arrived when they opened, so I was unable to see if they were closing off any tables for COVID protocols.
Very casual but classy sandwich joint. I had the bacon cheese burger with lettuce onion and mayonnaise, onion rings, and unsweet tea out of the soft drink fountain. All were very good. Solid place for burgers, Phillies, and other sandwiches with table service. The four of us ate for less than 14 dollars each with top and this is not a fat food sandwich and fries, rings.
We got the chicken wings to start, naked with mango habenero and bbq sauce on the side and we didn't need it, they were crispy, flavorful and juicy. We also got the monster burger and it is huge! 1 1/2 lbs of meat. Loved it nas had plenty extra to take home. :) I got the beef & lamb gyro and it was one of the best gyros I've had, tons of meat and the tzatziki sauce was fantastic, I asked for extra! All in all wonderful from taste to service!
