We were greeted at the door, seated right away. Our waiter was attentive and came back several times before we ordered. The menu was extensive. My dinner was made up of a cheese enchilada with red meat sauce gravy, a tamales, and a beef fajita taco with rice, beans, and a bed of lettuce with guacamole. I changed the refried beans to charro's and they were excellent. Everything was hot and very tasty. I was only disappointed with the tamale because it was shredded chicken and I was expecting pork! I am definitely returning. My partner raved about his meal.
Loved it. Tables for big parties, lots of room to walk between tables, big place. Bathrooms are nice. Sangria was the best I've ever had. Food was good, big portions. I
Price was higher than most places, bit not by much I liked the look of the place.Server was polite, funny, prompt. They to be home made salsa, red and green soooo good. We went during lunch and was not busy around 230pm.
We eat here a lot, and bring family here when they come from Michigan...Almost always we get great food..only a very few times was it not up to the usual expectations.. Service is great whether it’s busy or not..Plenty of chips and salsa, and happy hour margaritas are great!! Really great seafood from a Mexican restaurant..We prefer this restaurant over the others just for the quality of the food,and service is top notch..

A very nice Mexican Restaurant with excellent food at a reasonable price. The menu has a large selection to pick from. I have eaten there several times and never been disappointed.
Me and my family love Los Cucos and go there once a week. They have the best margaritas in the Katy area. They also have the best service.

Just like Mexican the food on the San Antonio River Walk. The Margaritas are as good as they get. This was my first time eating their and I love it. They have vast menu so you will fine something for you their. Note: Make your choice before the Margarita kicks in or you will never be able to make up your mind.

Tonight my wife and decided to visit our reliable, rock solid, go-to, Tex Mex joint, Los Cucos in old Katy. As usual the food was consistent, plentiful and delicious! My wife ordered the Mexican Chalupas and I had the Los Monos plate - Chicken enchilada, chicken and beef fajitas smother in a tomato, mushroom white wine sauce. MUY DELICIOSO! I have to give a special shout out to our waiter, Salvador. Salvador was enthusiastic, polite, attentive and quick to serve with a smile. Tonight Los Cucos earnes an A+!

Food is delicious!! Table service is inconsistent. Atmosphere is like old Mexico. Can get noisy. TVs always on sports. I go there to eat great food and visit with my friend. We both enjoy Los Cucos for that.
Atmosphere and food is pretty average, the other location is really good than this.
If I had a picture for every meal I’ve had here… it would be the entire menu! We love the Hwy 90 Los Cucos! I love that the same staff have been here since I was a child.
Green sauce is what dreams are made of! I miss the .99 house margarita days of 2013-2014!

The dipping sauces for the chips were incredible! I enjoyed every bite! I have had large shrimp before, but it never tasted that good before, the seasoning was great! It was a really good experience with family. All the flavors were on point, the seasoning was excellent and the staff was extremely polite. I'll have to come here again sometime!
The food was delicious and the staff are attentive and friendly. The dining area was kind of noisy with happy patrons eating and enjoying the time out so without me having to ask they took the initiative to sit my family in a separate area where we could eat and converse without having to shout across the table. The food was just the right temperature and the prices were very reasonable. The location is hard to park at because there are not many spots designated towards the restaurant. I definitely recommend this Los Cocos to anyone who really wants comfort food and a good time with family and friends.
Plenty of room in the restaurant. Service was fast and professional. Food was really good and prices are fair to current market. Definitely a great spot for larger parties. There was no wait for party of 6 on Saturday night, so I was happy. If in the Katy area put it on the list for Mexican restaurants
This is our original Los Cucos, great little family spot, fast and friendly service, delicious menu and good strong poured drinks! So we actually ate here yesterday and it’s been a while and let me tell you this was the best visit we have had yet in all of the years the food was absolutely delicious it looks like they have remodeled the place the service was impeccable we were highly impressed and absolutely look forward to going back more often!
I ordered enchiladas verdes and the fajita chicken inside was very dry. Some ordered fajitas and another ordered a shrimp dish. Those were okay. We waited about 15 minutes before our drink order was taken and our food took a very long time to arrive. Aside from that, the servers were very pleasant and friendly. We were a group of seven.
Great place to grab delicious food and drinks! Our server was attentive, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the prices were reasonable! I’ll be coming back!
While not the greatest, Los Cucos is still very good with reasonable prices compared to other Tex Mex joints. This seems to be our go to place on Fridays since it’s usually not crazy crowded and the drinks are solid.
Edgar was phenomenal. My boyfriend could not remember a plate he had gotten in the past and Edgar was able to name it by the description. He was very timely and well mannered. I highly recommend this Los Cucos
