What a good Southern breakfast should be. Simple with good flavors. Eggs and sausage were NOT full of grease. Toast was generously buttered but not over kill. Grits were perfectly cooked. Coffee was fresh and not so hot when it came that you couldn't sip it for 10 min.
found this gem by accident, but im so glad i did. staffs are more than friendly, it is definitely a local joint, ton of people, and everyone was saying hi to everyone, everyone was smiling. And the food is excellent! how did they kept the chicken so juicy!!! definitely coming back for more.

If you want a local Cafe with amazing food and service, this is the place! I am on a business trip so have been trying different places for breakfast and while the other new fancy chains have disappointed, this cafe has certainly not!
First time coming here and the service was great, with smiles & very friendly. The food was outstanding, home-style country cooking.
This wonderful cafe is as good as they get. I still have quite a bit of the menu that I want to try, but what I’ve had so far has been excellent. Today I had the gyro with fries and a salad. Delicious. Breakfast here is something you’ll definitely want to try too.
This place feels like the heart and soul of Katy. Friendly service, great value, quick, and they’re open super early. I love it.
Protein packed breakfast and Greek omelette were delicious. Brandi never let our coffee get empty.
We’ve been coming to Snappy’s for years, and for years it’s been epically average. Good service and okay food.
This restaurant has been an Old Katy staple for decades. It’s outlasted many chain restaurants and will most likely continue to do so as long as the new owners stay on track.

Staff is very friendly, including management. Provides an inviting atmosphere. I love the corn beef hash. Ava was my server and did a great job.
That fried catfish was out of this world…. and for $11 came with 3 sides and a roll!!! I will definitely be back soon. Green beans were the best I’d had in a restaurant.
