Great atmosphere, great food, great service, and great wine!!!
My husband had the ribeye steak and it cut like butter and was very flavorful. I had the bleu cheese burger (definitely fresh ground beef and not a frozen patty) and it was loaded with bleu cheese that was toasty and melty, and a perfectly toasted artisan bun. My 10 year old daughter had the alfredo chicken flatbread and gave it 2 thumbs up. We all shared the family size truffle fries and were delighted to find that the truffle oil and Parmesan cheese had been layered throughout the fries and not just sprinkled on top. They were so good we didn't even need the ketchup that came with it.
We would definitely recommend this establishment and will be frequent patrons!
This was my first time being at the restaurant. I walked in and it was quiet, relaxing. Food was amazing. Drinks were great. Our server was energetic and fun, and informative with their menu. I highly recommend this place. If you’re looking for a place to take a girl on a date and if she loves wine, take her to this restaurant.
My bf brought me here for lunch on my birthday and we fell in love with it! Our waiter was awesome, the food was delicious and the wine was perfect! Less than a week later and we returned for dinner. Had another great experience. Loved the live music. Such an awesome place with a great vibe. We'll be back again soon!

My fiancé has never had a wine that he has ever enjoyed before. The waitress was kind enough to bring him samples, and to my surprise, he actually liked one!!! Food was fantastic and creme brulee was great! Will be back!!

Hubby and I went here on Friday night, it was early, so not very crowded, but folks started rolling in once we left. We had several appetizers instead of a main, wine tastings and a bottle of the Trio Rosso (excellent selection!) We joined the wine club and are excited to be members...highly recommend this establishment!
The Cellar Door is a great place for a date night and to meet friends!!
Food is great and you will always find a nice glass or bottle of wine there. Service is very professional and prompt. Love this place!!!

Our first visit was New Years Eve, and I promise you that it will not be our last!!!! The food and service was amazing!!!! This is definitely a hidden gem, and I am so happy that we found it!
Local small business gem! We returned after 4 years and had a fantastic dinner. The table service by Sierra was outstanding. The ambiance was very cool.
We're always looking for a good beef carpaccio and it is now one of our favorites. We had small plates including a wedge salad, empanadas, snd flatbread.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our first visit! Apparently Sunday evenings are a little slow for them as we were the only patrons when arriving around 7pm. The atmosphere here is charming and the service and food quality and flavors were top notch!
If your in the area and are looking for a date night idea this is it! From the out side of the strip mall it looks very unassuming. Walk in and bam, ambiance! I love a dark well decorated,small and cozy spot to spend time with my husband! The food is delicious. MIKE is our favorite waiter. We will be back soon. You gotta try the empandas. Two small critiques would be they are a bit pushy with the wine club. I think it's worth it but I would tone it down. You don't want customers to feel pressured. Second, the samosas would be much better with a sweet chili sauce instead of the marinara provided. All in all we love this place.
Really enjoyed the quiet & intimate ambiance this place has. The food and service were good. No complaints here, I would visit again when looking for a nice spot that's not crowded. It was a Friday around 6pm and we were able to talk across the table in a regular voice & hear each other. It was great. Ate the food before I got a picture but dessert was delicious
Place and services was really good. Server knew their product and suggested great options. Place was clean and food tasted good. If you are a wine lover I would definitely recommend.

So, let me first say, this is not a review about their wines or the selections or the tastings (which are all great) - it's about their Father's Day dinner.
I got to choose and after seeing the email sent out about their Father's Day dinner, I knew where we were going. So I got to go with my daughter, my son, my stepson and my daughter's fiancé.
My wife unfortunately had a migraine headache and couldn't make it.
We started with some small plates, or appetizers, that consisted of the beef empanadas, stuffed mushrooms, peppadew peppers (my favorite), and Tuscan herbed crostini's (new to the menu). These did not last long, but shortly after which, our main course arrived.
The Meat Board - all meat served on a large cutting board. There was a 12oz ribeye and 6oz filet - cooked medium rare, and then there were the lamb lollipops and last, which is my wife's favorite, the seared Ahi tuna. We also had a bowl of the meatballs and sauce. Everything was devoured and we had to order additional small plates for the big appetites at the table. Had it not been for the characters I brought in, there would have been more than enough food for normal appetites. And my son (14) had one of the hamburgers with truffle fries - they are very good.
Everything was amazing and just not enough time to write about each one.
We also had a bottle, or maybe two of Whole Cluster Pinot Noir. Very good.
Chef Julieta did an amazing job preparing our food and making it a most enjoyable evening.
Owner Ron Holsomback has a great place and has done a wonderful job at putting together great wines with great foods.
Went recently to celebrate my birthday and I was so so pleased with our experience. The atmosphere was so nice, just what you want in a wine bar. Wine was really great and the food amazing! We will be back very soon!!!!

We love this place. Food is top notch. Collin is fantastic and super knowledgeable. Great atmosphere, we feel like next door neighbors. New to the area and wanted to find a place just like this. The tuna is unreal good, wake up your mouth lovely. Great staff, great wine, excellent food. Don't let the facade scare you, this place is a true gem
I always enjoy walking into this gem of a place! It almost feels like a secret passage way to an underground hidden gem of a restaurant. From the decor, the exceptional service and quality of food. Love it here! The chef, Emily and Eric made sure we were happy and very satisfied. Excellent customer service and food!
The class led by Sina is wonderful. The wine and exceptional for Texas and the service was extraordinary. Get a Groupon for and class and the sampler plate. All the servers were smiling and seemed to enjoyed the work. The wines were unequally good for the region and the prices were just right for what you expect. Try it. You will NOT REGRET it... recommend it GREATLY!!!
Very cute space! Went on A Saturday and there was no wait. We originally went to ErmaRose Winery but the wait was way too long (wait outside). Cellar Door cheese plate and hummus was delicious as well as our wine selections. Great service!
Wine list was good. Now I did expect them to have a bigger selection based on them being wine bar. Atmosphere was good. Food and wine was good overall we had a good experience.
I love this place. Local family owned and operated . Really good wine. Prices are good. Great date night. One of those hidden gems in Katy. They offer wine tastings and painting classes. So fun. Highly recommend.
Nice Ambiance and Friendly Service
Enjoyed a happy hour at this place. The bartender was friendly and helpful and the wine selection is excellent. Easy parking and beautiful interior. Lots of cozy corners for a romantic date.
Came on Sunday afternoon for the first time. There was only one girl working, I think her name was Maya? She was extremely friendly and welcoming. We sat and had a glass of the house Pinot Grigio and the Texas Bluebonnet. Both wines were excellent. We had the cheese lovers charcuterie board and that was very good as well. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Darker setting, comfortable booth, easy music in the background. Maya was the perfect amount of attentiveness. We loved our time here. It was a great spontaneous date location. If we were to change anything at all we would hope they would add in flights/tastings so we can get some variety, as there are no wine descriptions on the menu and they have a LARGE list of wines. However, we will be back! Thanks!!
Fancier than I was expecting being in the same parking lot as a gun store, nail salon and bar. The drinks they offered are either wine or water, nothing else. The fish and chips that is the picture I couldn't find on the menu. The burgers were excellent and good sized. We got 4 burgers 4 waters and 2 fries and it was about $70. We watched someone get engaged and have their family come celebrate. Overall it is a nice date night with a quiet atmosphere.
Joined the elite wine club. Exceptional place. Unexpected. Amazing food and wine. Service was wonderful.
