A very enjoyable location. Great staff, attentive especially amidst the very busy times, quick to delivery food, wonderful atmosphere and fun music. They have specific sections to host parties, both personal and business parties (seemed like a company was hosting their Christmas party when we were there) and service was fast and unwavering. Food and drink choices were great.
I recently visited Los Cucos Mexican Cafe and had a very positive experience. The restaurant has a comfortable, inviting atmosphere with a vibrant decor that truly transports you to a Mexican fiesta. The service was prompt and attentive, and our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations.
The food was tasty, with generous portion sizes. The chips and salsa were a great starter - the salsa in particular had a nice kick to it. I had the enchiladas suizas which were flavorful with a creamy green sauce that was delicious. The side of pinto beans and rice were also very flavorful and complemented the main dish nicely.
The drink menu was impressive with a wide selection of margaritas and other specialty cocktails. I tried the house margarita which was delicious and refreshing. One of my fellow diners also ordered the guacamole, which was made fresh and had a great balance of flavors.
The restaurant was clean and had a fun atmosphere with live music and salsa dancing on some nights. The only drawback was that it was a bit noisy, but that didn't detract from the overall experience.
Overall, I had a great time at Los Cucos and would definitely recommend it to others. While it's not the cheapest Mexican restaurant in town, the quality of the food and service make it worth it for a nice evening out or special occasion.
I don't normally write a review, but the service and food was outstanding.
We had the San Luis plate and is a true culinary gem. The perfect blend of flavors and textures makes it a standout choice. From the tender meat to the savory sauces, every element of the San Luis contributes to a amazing dining experience. Combined with the complimentary chips and avocado sauce, it creates a delightful symphony for your taste buds. Highly recommended!
First time in Katy, a friend brought us here as her 'go-to' place. Fried avocado? Hwhat? The food was really good here and that is from a Mexican food fan!
Looking to kill time in Katy and found this to be one of the highest-rated spots in the area, and it definitely did not disappoint. They have an extensive menu and a large bar selection. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the fastest I’ve ever had food come out after ordering in my entire life. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was super friendly. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for some classic Mexican food.
Absolutely delicious! Many dishes to choose from and the menu seems to never end. The service is excellent. If you are visiting for dinner arrive early as it does get packed. Stop by and enjoy a great meal. I recommend the Pollo Del Mar but everything on the menu is delicious.
Not bad, fast service, reasonable prices, good menu. Sorry to put yall on blast but it didn’t feel very clean. Y’all’s chandeliers are filthy see photo attached. They’re all this dirty. Window sill had some old trash in it presumably from the last guest.
We called the restaurant ahead for a party of 30. They had no problem getting us seated and taken care of. The waiter took all of our orders and they were all correct including all of our split bills. The food was flavorful nice and hot, but the drinks were even better! Adult beverages that is!
One of the best Mexican restaurants in Katy,
Quantity and quality is really good!!
The service was above and beyond. Like way above. Super accommodating and the food was some of the best I've had when it comes to Mexican in Texas.
I would rate the service 3.5-4.
The server, he didn't give his name, was nice but busy? He never made eye contact and always seemed preoccupied with what was going on in the parking lot (looking through the window). Another server saw my frustration and assisted a little, which I appreciate. Food was good though.
Hear me out guys! This place is a must! Food is super yummy and the staff it oh so friendly my family loves coming here! Sadly it’s a long drive from home but definitely worth it.
Very cozy and nice place to have some Tex Mex food 💯
The service is great at this location. I came in a little later than I would have liked but the food and drinks still came out pretty quickly. Margaritas are a must here.
Best happy hour specials $3.49 Margaritas. The combo platter we got for 2 was plenty and very good. The Guac could be better. Will definitely keep coming back for happy hour
Love the chips and salsas. Don't know if the red or green is my favorite. The food is always good. Almost forgot to take a picture. Had lunch of chicken quesdilla, cheese enchilada, & nachos. New to me. It was good and my server was good.
We're looking for a new Mexican Restaurant to eat at this one came recommend by Google Maps.
We're sat at our table very quickly. Our water and chips were brought to us just seconds after we sat down, which was nice. We did wait about 15 mins before our server actually greeted us, but it was also a very busy day.
Our sever was very sweet and she kept refilling our drinks on time without being asked to. Her service was way awesome.
The food was also very good. The kids loved the chips and guacamole. I had a fajita plate that was really yummy. My wife had tilapia plate and my kids had kids meals, which were all very large servings.
The customers service really stands out was being amazing as we were checked on often a and out food came really quick even though it was really busy that day.
Great food. All 4 grilled platters are awesome. The tortillas are good too. The service was very slow to begin with. Had to wait to be seated with no line and no one in front of us. Over 10 mins for anyone to show up at our table to ask us if we wanted water. Otherwise this place is good.
