Came to eat some authentic Mexican food , the pictures look amazing. I ordered the tamales dinner , the food wasn’t that hot. The tamales didn’t have much taste , super disappointed with the rice. That was canned beans and carrots on rice , not Mexican rice.

Went to this restaurant with a party of about 20 people. We were seated immediately and the staff was very attentive to our needs. The food was delicious and for a great price!
Lovely place to eat. I like the scenery. The waiter was very nice. Ideal for family or friends hangout.. really big space. If you had a party here it’ll be nice. I believe they have rooms for private parties.

As a Katy immigrant, now an old timer, I knew El Jarrito when it was in a much smaller place. Now, bigger place, but same everyday excellence. For MANY years, El Jarrito has been our Tex-Mex favorite in Katy. Friendly folks, GREAT food! HIGHLY recommended!

Food and atmosphere is great for a family restaraunt. The service is good however sometimes (not allways) there is a breakdown in language barriers when ordering. The staff however make up for that with being very attentive and friendly.
El Jarrito is our go-to Mexican restaurant. We come here at least once every couple of weeks. I usually get the mole enchiladas or the chicken fajitas, but everything I've had here is good. Also love their margaritas!
