I liked the Italian decor. They have special ceiling tiles! There are tables out front with a pergola and a small fountain, but I've never seen anyone eating outside. They didn't have a hostess when we went on a Friday evening, but we were verbally greeted by the bartender. There's a sign saying to seat yourself. They actually have a decent Happy Hour menu from 3-6:30pm. We got the fried ravioli as a Happy Hour appetizer. It was good but kinda tasted like funnel cake. We really enjoyed the lasagna and chicken parm. We plan to go back on a Thursday to try their pizza specials.
I enjoyed my Italian meal at Hasta La Pasta. The food was very good I recommend to try the Mussels, they were delicious!! . I did not like the coffe. Since it is an Italian restaurant I thought they must have a great Espresso and I ordered one double shoot and I regret I did. I noticed the girl had no clue on how to do it, it took too much time and at the end she brought drip coffee in a big cup ( Espresso cups are much smaller) so I was disappointed with the coffee you can judge in the picture. Other than that the food is good to try.
first time dining here. came on a busy and/or short staffed night for dinner and so it was counter service what're you go up to order and they will bring out to you if you decided to dine in which we did, kind of like LA Madeline restaurants but I'm pretty sure on a normal night they have regular waiter/waitress services.
service was still good as well as food. food was hot and fresh and generous sized portions
The food was excellent very clean restaurant friendly staff pump service always made sure our glasses were full. Our server Pam was very helpful about the menu and made some great recommendations for dessert. Would recommend to any of my friends and family that is down in Katy to come to hasta la pasta

Outstanding food and service- gluten free options to boot. We picked this place out of the hat on the Find Me Gluten Free App after a night out and this place rocks.
We started with salads (gluten free modified), and while they don’t have GF bread- our companions said it was good. Had the Brussel sprouts as a starter. Dinner came out on large plates and it looked wonderful. The first bites told us we made the right call.
Between the gluten free penne with Alfredo sauce and chicken and the gluten free pizza it’s become our local Italian go-to when we are in the area. Our dining companions had the regular pasta options and said theirs were delicious. Portions were good and we ended up with some take-away for tomorrow which is good.
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable- we took recommendations and were happy with the choices.
Spacious dining area, a full bar, friendly staff, good prices, endless fountain drinks, and absolutely awesome food. They have indoor and outdoor seating options. Handicap accessible parking, dining room, and restrooms.
Definitely going to be back here again and hopefully soon.
Just drove by and decided to give it a try. Unassuming place in a Kroger strip mall. I’ve tried the other Italian place a few doors down and it wasn’t worth trying. But Hasta La Pasta was excellent! Order up at the counter and they bring your food out to you. The Rapalla was delicious. Different with goat cheese but adds a nice twist. Very fast service and friendly staff. Will be back again!
They are good for comfort food. Pizzas are decent but love their pasta and meatballs. They serve bread sticks along with real olive oil that contains a pesto sauce. Other good dishes like ravioli. Get full meals instead of half orders as full meals include either a house salad or small ceaser salad.. we like their larger tables by the windows up front.
Great atmosphere...excellent service I mean check these pics out. We will be back. Good beer selection. Lots of local and imports. Our server Grace was very attentive.
Delicious pizza and the BEST Sicilian salad. We sat in the bar area, celebrated a birthday and an Astros win. Delicious food, great service and a casual atmosphere.
Had a great first time experience at Hasta la Pasta! Tried it out with my mother and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered Coffee and a Cappuccino with a couple of desserts. Everything was delicious! The outdoor patio has a very nice atmosphere as well. They also have a nice Bar inside.
