It's long been a family tradition. Salad options feel a little light, but we live in a post covid world in that regard, I think. The staff here is quick and efficient behind the counter.
There are staff in the dinning area ready to help and clear tables.
Everyone has been professional and courteous any time I've visited and I've enjoyed my food. I'm happy this location survived their financial troubles of the last few years.
Enjoyed the Kids eat free for Saturday on today! I’m not used to the set up not being from Texas originally. But the service was fairly quick and they opened another register to be more efficient. I was a little confused therefore on pricing and what came with my meal. Food tasted hot and fresh. They give a LOT of food for the price and we have leftovers. If you need to feed a lot of people it’s definitely enough to share. My bill with kids eat free, adult meal and drink was about $15. Ambience was not fancy but it was clean and easy to move through with a tray and a child.
Amazing ! It was my first time eating there today. Even though it was busy and we waited for about an hour; I truly enjoyed the meal. Everything was seasoned to perfection and it was not too expensive
I used to frequent Luby's as a child with my grandparents and one thing that I can say is that they have stayed consistent over the years...I never get a bad meal at this place. Many choices to choose from and it's a quiet atmosphere to enjoy a good home cooked meal. Lubys will always be a fan favorite. It's something there for all ages.
We enjoy this place. The cooking is fantastic! Delicious! Many different wonderful things to try. And they are very tasty. It was not crowded when we came. The writers were very kind and helpful. They have 25% off for military, can't beat that. We will come back! Mm mm good.

I had the best service at Lubys on Nov. 22nd. I was able to go in and get my Thanksgiving feast even though my online order was not there. It was my fault because I didn't get a confirmation number and knew I was taking a chance trying to pick up last-minute. I was in and out in 15mins!! Amazing service! Very organized! Thanks again for making my Thanksgiving great!
Friendly and fast. I would skip the dressing next time but everything else was very good.
Server was attentive. Food selection better than most Lubys. Food tasted ok, not great. I had the steak, sausage and shrimp combo. I think it was reheated.
So glad the Katy location stayed open! It’s always a favorite place for good home cooking! My husband and I had the turkey and stuffing and it was delicious!
Great family restaurant prices were very good. There's a very large selection of good food. Food tasted good and the service was very nice.

LOVE LUBY'S
We live in Pearland and our Luby's closed a couple of years ago. It was a sad day for all of us, but especially me, because I grew up eating Luby's with my family at least once a week while growing up on the north side of Houston. My husband and I were in San Antonio this past week and we were thinking of places to eat lunch on our way home. We discovered that the Luby's in Katy was still open for business and so we decided to stop in. I am so glad we did. The food was great! The service was wonderful! Everything I remember so well and love about Luby's came rushing back. We were there at 1:30 and it was still quite busy with lunch traffic. We will definitely make more of an effort now to stop in at Luby's when we are in different parts of Houston.
I wish they had more cold appetizers or salads. Otherwise food remains the same, cooked like Luana Luby style. Cafeteria style setting, clean, not a lot of waitstaff but I saw them hustling to keep up.
