My family and I had the caprese salad and fried mushrooms for appetizers. The salad was fresh and the mushrooms still had crunch to them even after a 16 minute drive home. We ordered the 16 inch Chicago style supreme pizza and we should have ordered the 12. The slices were large. We could only eat one piece each. The cost is a little on the high side but its a quality pizza.
Mozzarella sticks with sauce were awesome! Deep dish was good but for $29 for a medium I still have to give this one to five star pizza, a little further of a drive but much cheaper and in my opinion five star taste better. Still great pizza.
Try it. Love it. Authentic pizza that leaves you with perfect memories. Best pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Deep dish, cheese steak sandwich etc were all fantastic and the quality is above par.

Absolutely amazing pizza. Easily the best I've ever had. I ordered the deep dish. I haven't tried any other kind from here but the service was actually even better than the pizza. The pizza is made by an actual chef with premium ingredients. 10/10!!!

Mazzei's is great! I definitely recommend this pizza spot. The pizza is really good! I always order a large pepperoni. I love that the crust is baked perfectly. It's not soggy or mushy which is a BIG no no for me. I'm super picky about that. Idk how they get it to the perfect texture, but its really good. They also offer complimentary soup with your dine in order. It's really good as well. Pizza is always fresh and if you call the order in and walk in to pick it up, they're always like, "Let me go get your order. It just came out the oven".... Sweet words to my ears!
A must visit. Their thick crust pizza, almost Chicago style, is amazing! Everything we've tried here is awesome. The pasta, appetizers, etc. Service is exceptional too. This is a little quaint place in Katy with great everything. I highly recommend you give it a try if you have not yet done so.
The deep dish pizza is amazing. The cheese and crust are delicious in taste and texture. The toppings are so generous that if you order deep dish for take out, they will tell you to keep it level while transporting so the cheese does not migrate to one side or the other. I've made that mistake once... resulting in an equally delicious... but messier... pizza. This place is hands-down our family's favorite pizza place. We order take out almost every week. Order in advance over the phone or online if getting deep dish, as it takes something like 35 minutes to bake that kind of masterpiece!
Even though there appeared to be only 2 people working here, the service was great and our pizzas arrived much sooner than expected. The deep dish was fantastic. Loved the many choices of toppings. (Roasted garlic! Zucchini!) The house made sauce was great. Will definitely be eating here again.
The pizza here is amazing. Tastes just like what I get in Chicago, no complaints at all. My wife is a big New York style fan, and now she is a convert to Old Chicago Style. Food was served hot. Service was friendly and not rushed at all. Prices are very fair for the large portions served. 12 inch pizza had 8 slices and was much bigger than 12 inches. We called ahead to have our deep dish order started, so we only waited about 15 minutes to eat instead of the usual 45 min for deep dish. Great place to take your family, very clean.
Hidden Gem! We've been looking for authentic Chicago Style Deep Dish for a while and Mazzei's is the closest you will get to it and it's very good. We went for our favorite flavor combo of Roma Tom, Roasted Garlic, and Meatballs. Rock solid!
Their NY Style, which is also better than most in the area, is worth returning for. If you like a crunch in your crust, get it. Sauce is very flavorful, great ingredients.
We had their side Caesar, House, and Greek salads - and once again - surprised! It's a LARGE side salad, especially at just $4, and filled with very fresh/crisp vegetables.
From the outside, it doesn't look like they have any seating but their inside extends over into the other retail space. Don't fall for how small it looks from outside!
We're returning as this is now our favorite pizza joint. It's worth the drive!

I have tried two items here. Classic pepperoni pizza when we ordered for pickup, was the first. Spaghetti with meat sauce when we came in for dinner. Both were ABSOLUTELY delicious. The pizza had a perfect sauce to cheese to meat ratio. The noodles in the spaghetti was perfectly cooked (something I find difficult to find in other Italian restaurants) and complemented the nicely seasoned meat sauce, as well. The ambience was very welcoming and also relaxed. The owner (or very good manager) comes out and checks on you which is a nice touch. We will definitely be coming back. 5 star all the way!
