We pulled up on a Monday evening and I was a little worried as 2 other people were here. The booths are a little worn in but the restaurant was clean. They bring both cold and hot salsa to the table with the chips, the cold is good but the hot was delicious, served with fresh cilantro and onions
Went to dinner early to beat the crowds for Valentines Day. Honestly the best Gumbo around! It has a deep rich brown color and tastes like it had been simmering for days. Yum! Shrimp enchiladas on red sauce were delicious. Carne guisada was ok. The red warm served with chips was good. Service was great. Restaurant was clean. The menu has too options but they do have good daily specials.
The food is always perfectly prepared and presented. The staff is knowledgeable and they have a broad selection of wines to choose from. Dessert is always one of my favorites and they do not disappoint in this area.
This has to be my favorite Mexican restaurant. It has a traditional feel to it inside, the staff are always very friendly and the food is excellent. The vegetable enchiladas are the best here.

Place had a closrd for party at 5:30 but they still hsd time for us to eat and it was great as usuall.
