This was the absolutely best Chinese food I’ve eaten in the 30years I’ve been sampling Houston restaurants! Fresh, tasty vegetables and perfectly cooked beef. You know it’s authentic when the patrons are Chinese families.

First time here. A friend of mine from out of town was looking for good Asian food. Took a chance here and was pleased. Really liked the quality of the menu and the food was hot, fast and fresh.
Went to Hunan Kitchen with my daughter and boyfriend. We had a blast. Small, quaint with unique flavors tonally our meals. Clearly they give their meal preparation a lot of attention.
Overall, ambiance, food, portions and service was over the top. The crawfish were awesome addition.
Will definitely be back.
Absolutely loved coming across this Chinese Restaurant. Spicy levels on request, we had number 2 spice level on the Hunan BBQ fish and the tofu beef soup. Owner server is friendly and came to speak with my Wife and myself. Will come back here to try their Peking duck. Yum yum!
First time trying and I was satisfied! I did take out but everything I ordered was delicious. I'm always weary on trying new spots with particular food but definitely happy I did here. The prices are great and the portions make sense! I had leftovers and they warmed up great.

I wish I had taken a pic of the Xiao Long Bao too, because they were great. All the food was delicious, and the service very good. The restaurant is clean and inviting as well.
The menu has loads of photos for many of the items, which is very helpful. It's also a large menu with a much greater variety of dishes than many Chinese restaurants in the area. Many traditional items too! Also they have lamb dishes! Yum.
I highly recommend this restaurant, and if you eat in rather than take out, you can try delicious things that don't travel well like the steamed buns and aforementioned soupy dumplings!
Brand new location off I-10. One of the most Authentic Chinese Hunan cuisine in the greater Houston area. My family drove 1-hr there for a dinner from The Woodlands. Totally worth it. Fantastic food and friendly service. Their white rice is also a bonus point, fresh and sticky.
Every dish here is super great, pineapple fried rice & beef soup noodle today both amazing. We’ve also had the spicy dice chicken, dry pot, spicy cabbage & fish plates before - all equally as great.
I have been here so many times! Everything is great and delicious! Always fresh! Service is always on point! Best best Chinese food in Katy! A must try! Don’t miss it! You will fall in love with it!
very good Chinese Restaurant，I like the smashed trio, old Changsha snack, Hunan Chicken. Hunan Chicken is white meat with lots of fresh veggies, a little bit spicy. Best in Katy. Will come back definitely.
This place just opened for a month. It has authentic flavor. The spicy crispy chicken it is in the similar style as Chengdu Taste in Bellaire. The second dish is supposedly tripe dish. It doesn't look like tripe. Maybe they messed up the order. Taste pretty good. Both dish were not spicy enough though. I expect it to be spicier.
Prices are reasonable, food is good, service is nice

If you live in the Katy area, stop by and try the Salt and Pepper Shrimp. This is worth the drive.

My husband and I enjoy this place. The xiao long bao is great, and my family loves the fried dumplings. Overall the food is good, the duck loves beer was delicious but a bit boney. My hubby really loves the spicy seafood special. The portions on the chicken fried rice make it more than enough to share and have some to take home after. I’ve had variable experience with the chicken always good, but sometimes outstanding. The variability is the only reason this is a four not a five star review. A solid Chinese restaurant that’s one of my favorites.
This is one of the best authentic Hunan restaurants in Houston. Fantastic quality on all of the dishes I’ve tried, but the chef specialty dishes are especially delicious. The quality of their rice is also on a whole different level.
The food was very fresh and authentic. The fish is very delicious and the service is excellent. Definitely returning.
