This was my uncles Recommendation and it was fabulous...I had the “South Point Island Burger,” the beef is grass fed and organic and it tasted amazing and fresh.. It came with cheddar cheeses, avocado, barbecue sauce and onion rings. If I had 1 critique it was the barbecue sauce was dabbed on and I knew to get the full flavor of the burger, I had to ask for more sauce. Once I took a bite and tasted this flavor I had no choice but to give this place 5 stars. The price was fair at about $13 to $16 per burger with 1 side. This ambiance at night along with the food make it deserving of 5 stars. Make sure you ask for a table at the end of the restaurant where you can look out and see the open sky, island trees and here frogs in the background ...Truly an island experience.
PS...The bamboo tree coming through the floor was pretty amazing!
Annie’s burgers are AMAZING! Anyone who goes to the big island has to stop here. The vegan taro burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what taro is but the way they prepared it is amazing.
The rest of my family loved their regular burgers. The onion rings were also great.
The hard homemade lemonade was really good. The drinks were a little pricey but they were so strong it made up for it.
Yum. And open later than most places in the area... We were starting to worry about finding dinner at all. Food is consistently good with fresh ingredients. Even the special drinks (with or without alcohol) are fresh. Easy to find and park. The staff is always friendly and have given us great tips on the area too. We love sitting by the big open windows for a breeze!
Delicious burgers, gluten-free buns and fantastic garlic/basil fries. We love the vibe here and the live palm trees growing through the ceiling.
Friendly, prompt service but very expensive drinks! We recommend the iced tea which comes with free refills.
Open kitchen so you can see the staff cooking and can hear lots of chopping going on.
One complaint is the tiny portion of fries - for an upcharge to include the garlic/basil, the portion should be larger.
Expect to pay at least $20/person for a meal.
I had a delicious fresh fish sandwich at Annie's. The advertised wasabi sauce wasn't very strong which I'm sure most people prefer, but I was hoping for at least a little kick. The wait was 1 hour during the busy time but they were able to provide some strong drinks during the wait. The manager/bartender is very kind, but some of the other wait staff were lacking in efficiency. If you like burgers you have to try this place out.
Loved my Steakhouse Burger which was juicy and delicious. My wife was happy with her Mango Chicken Salad but as it was fresh but she felt like she had to hunt for the chicken a bit. Staff was friendly, ambiance was nice. Where else do you get palm trees coming up though the floor and going out through the roof. Would return.
This place is definitely worth a stop. Friendly service, great food, and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended an order of onion rings with a side of ranch. The Fire Cracker and BBQ South Point burger were also delicious.
Super great! Fries were phenomenal, they have a vegetarian AND vegan options for burgers as well as some great sides. My server was Ann and she was cheerful and fast!
Awesome location. Lovely sunshine and view!
Menu was hit and miss for me. Loved the barbecue burger and chicken, but the swiss burger was a little blah. The fried green beans were great but the onion rings were very greasy. Not super appetizing.
We highly recommend the BBQ burger! The onion rings are a must and try the basil garlic fries for a delicious rendition on a classic! The firecracker was spicy, but get some BBQ to put on it for an awesome mix and match!
