Earth will become one of our "special" places to dine for the future. We were very surprised at the excellent locally-sourced prix fixe menu. Food flavors were unique and delicious. Rustic atmosphere is friendly, warm and romantic. Service team is excellent, informal/friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wine options. Note that Earth is the restaurant attached to the Kennebunk Hidden Pond resort, and you definitely need a GPS device to find it! Prices are definitely on the high side. Still, highly recommended.

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. It started with the bread...best bread ever! Every course was so fantastic. Highly recommend the donuts for dessert. Amazing and friendly service. Beautiful restaurant. Hard to get a better overall experience! Can I please have the bread recipe? (I live in TX, so I can visit the restaurant regularly... unfortunately.)

Very good. The food was great and a good value. The desserts can be skipped. The first three courses were flavorful and had some layers of complexity that made each dish stand out.

I recently dined at Earth at Hidden Pond and had a fantastic experience. The cocktails were exquisite, offering a delightful start to the evening. The execution of each course in our four-course tasting menu was impeccable, but the Tuna sashimi and A5 wagyu stole the show. We had the seafood stew for dinner with scallops, shrimp and lobster in a light Thai inspired broth, and the sea bass. The sea bass (general name for many fish) was fine (con fit mushrooms and cauliflower w chicken jus) the flavors just didn't help balance the dish. The fish, it was more along the lines of a branzino...than a thicker filet of fish (which I admit I expected, but didn't inquire more of my server). The service was attentive and excellent, enhancing our overall enjoyment. And let's not forget the donuts for dessert – they were the perfect sweet ending to a memorable meal. A dining experience that I would re visit. Be mindful, four courses is $90+ pp.

The highlight of our trip to Kennebunkport, Maine, was the incredible dining experience at Earth. Celebrating our anniversary with a four-course meal, every choice was delicious. Must-tries include the tuna sashimi and Peakytoe crab cake. Amazing food and atmosphere. Tip: Make reservations in advance and doughnuts dessert is overhyped.

Great food (though did have to wait...as in a 4 course dinner took approx 2 hours)...but wasn't in a rush so didn't mind...had the tuna sashimi (excellent), barley risotto (excellent), halibut (excellent) & cheese plate (excellent)- i can also attest to the amazing donuts (my husband had)...recommend

Absolutely incredible experience. I went as part of a party of 5 for my belated birthday. Everyone in my party could not stop raving about their food. It was perfect!

Had a very nice dinner at Earth. The A5 wagu was cooked to perfection and the halibut presented with a nice sear on the surface. The duck breast was served at the perfect temperature. The doughnuts however simple were the consensus favorite dessert. The service was attentive but not intrusive and the atmosphere warm and welcoming

If I could give them ten stars I would. We tried the tuna sashimi, scallops, crab cakes, wood fired lobster and the doughnuts. Everything was excellent with complex flavors and incredible aesthetics. Service was above and beyond, maybe the best I've ever experienced in my life. Charlie, our server, made us feel like we were at home. We will definitely be back and next time we're bringing another couple so we can try the private shed!
