My friend and I came here for lunch and loved it. We shared the tater kegs to start. They were fantastic. Then we shared a burger with potato salad and a caesar salad. It was all great, but the potato salad was a bit bland. We added a little salt and it was much better. Service was friendly and quick. There's a parking lot behind the building for $4.00 an hour.
Wonderful lunch - busy town. Parking could be challenging but we lucked out and were able to park out front. Excellent lunch, good service, sat near window. Thoroughly enjoyed! had the strawberry fruit salad with grilled chicken and fried haddock sandwich. Both were excellent. Highly recommend.
Allison's is one of our favorite restaurants to enjoy when we visit Kennebunkport. It is conveniently located near the cute shop, pubs, and the scenic bridge in town.
The lobster roll is very delicious with its salty, buttery toasted roll with the sweet and creamy lobster filling
The scallops were grilled to perfection with only one of the scallops coming with some sandy grit in it.
Their selection of seasonal beers are a fantastic way to cleanse your palate and wash your gullet.
I had the best lobster roll of my entire life here. The Trio lobster roll order is a must have if you’re a lobster roll fanatic like me. ITS $12 FOR THREE ROLLS! Never heard of a better deal anywhere else. You could absolutely enjoy by yourself or with someone else. The one on the left is the BLT, which absolutely blew me away. The bacon and lobster combo is unmatched. The one on the right is a lobster bisque roll which is exactly how it sounds and exactly how it tastes and the best lobster roll I have ever tasted. Absolutely brings every lobster flavor out inside a wonderfully warm, toasted, and buttery bun. A 100% highlight of my trip coming to eat here!
Can't believe I forgot to leave a review on the best lobster roll and poutine in New England! Great service, amazing food and awesome atmosphere! In Florida now and missing Alisson's (just not missing the cold), if we make it back for a season next year we will definitely be coming for another helping! Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and drinks.

We were driving into Kennebunkport and selected Alisson's Restaurant for our lunch destination. We noticed that they had an option to online waitlist and the wait was currently 70 minutes. We went on the waitlist and it worked out perfect by the time we finished our drive and found a parking space. Not only was our table ready, but it was the perfect table for us. It was upstairs by the window so we could watch the busy Saturday activity on the street below. My husband started with a craft beer and I started with a blueberry mojito. Hubby said the beer was great and I loved my mojito. We were looking for something lite to eat and chose the lobster flatbread and my husband had the wedge salad, but added salmon. Not only did the lobster on the flatbread satisfy my lobster craving but the flatbread was so buttery and delicious. My husband said that the salmon was possible the best he ever tasted. We did order the blueberry pie to take to our hotel and wish we had devoured it while it was still hot. Make no mistake that the pie was good. The service was friendly and attentive including the hostess and the server.
I’ve been here several times over many years and it’s always excellent. Lobster Mac and Cheese is my favorite, will even have it multiple times in the same week! The blueberry pie is amazing too. Definitely worth visiting.
Always great food and they have not skimped on portions as many other have increased prices and reduced portions. You'll get more than what you pay for here. Lobster rolls are excellent. Thanks Alisson's!
I can’t say enough positive things about this establishment. We were greeted by pleasant staff and seated promptly. Our waitress Lauryn G was fantastic! She made sure the kids got their food orders in while we were still navigating their fantastic menu. We enjoyed a mouth watering appetizer of lobster bisque poutine and for the main course I devoured two of the three rolls in the petite lobster roll trio. When it came time for our togo box Lauryn made sure we left with our rolls staying as fresh as when we got them. I would give them 6 stars nay 7 stars if I could. Can’t wait to come back!
My husband and I had a great time at Alisson’s. We sat at the bar so there was no wait and our waitress arrived immediately.
I ordered the clam chowder and I had a headache so I asked that it be brought out as soon as possible and boy did they deliver! Everything was served ultra fast! We had the lobster roll trio and crab cakes along with 4 of their tap beers.
They have an excellent selection of beers on tap and a pictogram showing the level of beer in each tap and which one was recently tapped.
Staff are great and food is excellent! Add this to your list in Kennebunkport!
Delicious food!! I enjoyed the fried fish sandwich which was great and the tartar sauce was perfect. The clam chowder was delicious and my friends enjoy the lobster roll and the lobster roll trio. This place seems like it is always busy but it is perfect having bar seating and high tops in the bar available for walk ins! Service was great at the bar too!
We sat at the bar in this busy restaurant. We had a deck of cards available to us so we played a game of spades. My pasta was incredible. Best meal in Maine!!°
Came across Allison's while checking out Kennebunkport and am glad I did! You cannot go wrong with a lobster roll here! I got the trio and all three were amazing. 10/10 recommend
A busy Sunday afternoon in Kennebunkport, might as well get on the wait list and try the local icon. We signed in "on-line" and presented ourselves when notifed and were promptly seated upstairs. Nice window table. The lobby stays pretty crowded, keep your cell phone in your shirt pocket.
Christophe, our server, was friendly, efficient and on-task. With a hundred people on the wait list, the goal is efficiency. However, the food was surprisingly good. We had a Mini Lobser and Chowder combo and a Lobster Roll covered with Lobster Bisque. Everything was delicious. I was surprised that the Lobster Bisque Roll was served chilled, I just expected warm, but it was still great! Good food, good service and got our ticket punched at Alisson's. Delighted we went and it was a value add to our week in Maine.
Nice place. Had fried clams and broiled haddock sandwich. Both very good. They might need a faster runner at the restaurant as fried food like clams need to be served within 1-2 minutes after they come out of the fryer. More than 4 minutes is too much time. Just sayin'. Nice place... Nice people

We stopped by Alisson's after getting recommendation from a few people. Parking (if not full) is right behind the restaurant and $4/ hour. We stayed parked for just around 3 and it was $12.
We were pleasantly surprised that there were plenty of empty tables and choose to sit at a booth. The waitress was bubbly and attentative. She took our drink order and gave us time to look over the menu. We decided to skip appetizers and get dinner and maybe afterwards something for dessert. I chose the petite lobster roll and soup, which was a creamy clam loaded cream chowder. The lobster was perfect but I was full from the soup and drink and didn't eat it all. My husband ordered the Lobster roll and was pleased with juicy large pieces of lobster meat on a grilled soft buttered roll. The lobster meat was sweet and tender and definitely worth getting and enjoying.
Our waitress noticed that I was not eating my roll and asked if everything was okay, once I told her it was because I was full she offered a box to take it out.
I have to mention that I chose a drink from the bar that was a special of lemonade moonshine and tea. It was perfect and I thoroughly enjoyed it. So much so that before I left I asked the bartender to show me the bottle so I could try to replicate the recipe this summer. 😅 He happily obliged and even told me the liquor had other great flavors.
Don't skip Alisson's when in Kennebunkport it is a great spot for good food and drinks.
Some of the best food in the 04046 zip code. The bisque is wonderful. The lobster Mac n Cheese is out of sight. The clams were delicious. The Pan Seared Scallops were perfect! Yum!
Great selection of craft beers also. I recommend the Foundation Desert Spring. This place doesn't disappoint!
One of the biggest & best Lobster Roll in the USA. Great good all around. Nice draft beer selection too. Wonderful atmosphere. I recommend it as a must stop in Kennebunkport
This place is awesome! Service was great, atmosphere good. Got a little noisy. We had the tator tots and lobster bisque poutine as shareables and both were amazing! I had my first lobster roll, which was delicious and the clam chowder was soooooo good!!!!
