Saimin Says - Kent - Photo album

Late post, my husband took me here because of the reviews and images on Google. To our surprise it was definitely a diamond in the rough. Staff was friendly and food is good! The mochiko chicken was nice and crispy. They offer to take your food out to your car if you order to go which is nice.
Unfortunately, the Kent location closed down, so this was my first time at this location. The Saimin wasn’t spectacular, but it was good.
Nice to be able to find a place serving saimin in Washington!
I LOVE Saimin Says! I was worried they closed for good because of the pandemic but stumbled upon their new location and I couldn't be happier. The food is always delicious and great portion sizes. Highly recommended

Broth was too salty for my liking (and I very much like salt). Saimin had good texture and I appreciate that it was served piping hot! Meager portion of rice for the single spam katsu loco mocho. Gravy was also too salty. Spam katsu was cooked nicely - crispy and delicious.
Food was really good!. Place was nice and clean. Prices, were fair.... but quality and taste was definitely awesome! We will be back for sure!!! Definitely one of our new favorite places to eat when we visit! Mahalo!
