Take a trip back to a place you wish you had made memories in when you were younger. Located next to the golf course in Kent, the unassuming Irish themed restaurant/bar has a winsome atmosphere. The customer service is splendid; the staff makes you feel at home. The food is what you wish every bar food was like. If you are looking for off-beat items or traditional classics, they have both.
Last time, we ordered these divine apps, the Harp bites, which are non-traditional cheese bits served with a sweet berry sauce. The Irish potato cakes, which are a combo of shredded potato, corned beef and sauerkraut are top notch. Seriously though, everything I have ever ordered here has been well portioned, flavorful, and well seasoned.
For dinner, I ordered the Guinness stew and a house salad and my husband ordered the the Cobb salad. The salads were fresh with generous toppings while the soup was warm, comforting and immensely satisfying in a way I cannot quite describe.
If you haven't been here, either for lunch or dinner, you don’t know what you are missing. Take a afternoon and visit, you won't regret it!

We frequently eat in and do takeout here. The food is excellent. They often are short staffed as most places are, but it's a quiet place to eat and have a drink. They are family friendly and have a hugh TV screen for games. Prices are reasonable. We appreciate the restaurant most for the quiet atmosphere and the great food and come also for drinks and conversation that is hard to do in some other popular places in the area.

For the price the food was good. Service was good too. We ordered the Irish themed food. We were more than happy with our meal. There were other items available though. It was a Saturday evening and a live band was setting up. For our first time there it was great. We will be going back.

I've been here twice now. The staff is always cheerful and friendly. Service is fast.
The shepherd pie is delicious and very filling. Soda bread was OK.
The clam chowder is good buuuut desperately needed salt.
The chicken satay is alright. It's peanut sauce but also a flavor I don't recognize.

We were the only people in here and they messed up our order three different times, gave us a flat drink, didn't give us what we ordered on our meal, and forgot to bring us our condiments when we asked twice. The food was good but overall the customer service experience killed it. There's no excuse to not be attentive to your customers when there are only two in the restaurant. Nothing was done to rectify the errors they made either other than just giving us an I'm sorry.

i have had the fish and chips, corned beef and cabbage, as well as the Reuben sandwich. all were wonderful but so far my favorite is the Reuben plus they pour a proper Guinness. the fries (or chips) are coated in a thin beer batter so are extra crispy and yummy. the corned beef is so juicy and tender. my next dish will be the macaroni and cheese with corned beef. oh for dessert i have had the bread pudding which was delicious. Lorraine is so sweet and wonderful to talk to.

What a great bar! An excellent selection of beers, very tasty salad plus prompt service adds up to a wonderful experience. The center bar configuration adds a sense of community and open conversation. A perfect place to stop after playing a round of golf at adjacent course.
