They put out food in the buffet for so long it’s cold and then they try to charge you for the leftovers. A complete rip of your money and time. Was very rude to us about not wanting to eat cold chicken, when last time we did there we got food poisoning. Very upset as we are lifetime customers but probably not anymore. We were told the buffet may not be right for us cause we’re wasting food. How can we be wasting what’s already cold?
Anybody else have this issue of middle of dinner time there’s a whole thing filled with cold chicken teriyaki sticks? And getting food poisoning from it?
The dessert is so fire it does get its own star though.

I have been coming to this Buffet since I was in college at Kent State (over 15 yrs), and have always had a great experience and the food has always been delicious! We mostly get take out now, but the price has remained reasonable and the food has remained the same great quality. I recently saw the signs about food wastage being charged and knew there would be negative reviews so I wanted to make sure I added a positive one, as we love this place and the service is great! My favorite is the crispy chicken and chicken and mushrooms!

"Best sushi" in 2018, but they have exactly 2 types, neither one contains fish or really any ingredient that matters in sushi. (One is primarily pickle and the other is fake crab)
The eggplant is spectacular and is the only reason I am giving this 2 stars instead of 1.
There are neon orange signs at EVERY table that say food wastage will be weighed and charged, which in itself isn't a terrible policy, but the gaudiness of seeing DOZENS of hazard orange signs all over the restaurant is unappetizing.
There are several employees that just stand there and watch people at the buffet like bouncers. It is intimidating and unwanted to have people staring at me like a hawk while I'm grabbing food.
They charged us 2 dollars each for our waters and acted like it was an accident, but judging by the rest of the practices and the very fake surprise given to us by the employee, I'm going to guess they charge everyone for water and only change it if you notice.
It's like a dystopian buffet. It is damn near $15/person. For this price. Do yourself a favor and drive to Twinsburg and check out Fun Buffet, which has a full sushi bar, included hibachi bar, 4x more of a selection, and 0 passive aggressive signs for the exact same price.

The food was good and the prices are good too。
But it was really interesting to see the comments. Why not eat at home when you can cook better .Some people get bad reviews for not tipping. Some people give themselves bad marks for wasting food. Aren't you ashamed of what you've done?
I feel very disappointed. Is there so much trash in America?Would you be unwelcome if you didn't make trouble? You don't have to tell anyone you're not coming back. Nobody cares. Stop acting like a child

We'd tried this place randomly after finding out the place we wanted to go to was closed and I'm so happy we ended up at evergreen. It might be my new favorite buffet, the food is so good and they have a great variety, the staff is so nice and attentive, great first experience. The inside is a little dated but don't let that scare you away the food is great and it's clean just dated.

By far my favorite Chinese buffet around. There are so many options to choose from and they are all equally delicious. They have the best egg drop soup, sushi, and sweet and sour chicken. The staff is very friendly and always talk to my daughter when we come in. They are very family friendly. I never have to ask for a booster seat they are already bringing one to our table. I wish they still offered crab legs but I understand things are hard to get right now and very expensive. I think paying for what you don't eat is very good idea. People waste so much food at buffets they should have to pay for leaving a whole plate of food they only took 2 bites off of. We will be back again soon!
Visited again 4/29 as always fresh and delicious food, friendly waitress and the staff is always very kind. The banana pudding was a pleasant surprise.

Much of the food was not hot, barely warm, rib tips very over cooked, chicken sticks chewy. Sauces that coated the various chicken dishes way too sweet and greasy/oily at the same time. Very small selection compared to many other buffets, expensive for what is offered lacks quality. Friendly service though

To our surprise my husband and I give Evergreen Buffet 5 stars, we arrived when they opened, they had BBQ Ribs tips, crab ragoon, all different types of chicken, crispy egg rolls, soft serve ice cream, sushi, almond cookies, pepper steak, peel & eat shrimp and SO much more, this place looks small but there is a lot to choose from. The only disturbing part of our visit is that some of the employees are still wearing The Mask, I always wonder if the owner is the one that's forcing the employees to wear their Chains or if it's willingly? There was a little girl there that had The Mask on too. I felt sad for all of them that had them on. We enjoy seeing smiles, we don't go out often so it's important to see faces, I've always been against The Mask, I never wore it willingly because I know that viruses will virus and that viruses enter into the body MANY different ways and that wearing tight fitting goggles and a N95 mask or respirator is only going to help keep viruses at bay as long as they aren't touched so I hope next time we visit we'll be able to see the employees beautiful faces which makes people healthy naturally to give smiles too. We did have a server that wasn't wearing The Mask so that was nice. Thank you for the GREAT food and service. We'll be back
