Really enjoyed my meal at Kunkel's Korner Restaurant yesterday! The place is in an old downtown building with a neat, rustic atmosphere. Food was ready in 5 minutes, tasted delicious! Not expensive, either, and my waiter was very nice. Five stars all the way!
Went here with a friend that is from the area. Got breakfast. Everything came up fast and fresh. Waiting was very nice. I had the biscuits and gravy and it was very good. Cool place. Neat decor! Sorry, I forgot to take pics of the meal. It came up fast and I was hungry.
Update, went back the next day. Added photos of food. Great prices. Awesome food. Great staff.
We had LIVER AND ONIONS...the best. It is something I don't cook at home.
My dining partner had gravy, I didn't. I asked for extra cooked onions and was not disappointed!
Plate lunch will last us all day.

We visited Kewaunee a year ago and enjoyed it so much we returned. This is one of our favorite restaurants here. Fish was the Friday night special. I had the baked cod. The portion was large, delicious, and reasonably priced. I also stopped by on another day for lunch and had the traditional wings which were delicious. I asked for my sauce on the side, and their sauce was extremely flavorful.

Winter hours vary see photo. Very nice waitress. Has that old west rustic feel but very clean. Ice water good . Coffee not too strong not weak I enjoyed it by itself . Only $1.99 not bad usually the drinks gauge you. Friendly folks . Hints of the innocence of yester years and here are some photos and menu. They have morning special for only $5. A must see and enjoy a little slice of heaven. Will definitely be returning for their perch fry n Friday night! Yummy

I come into Kunkels every time I come to Kewaunee. Great atmosphere, wonderful service and very good homestyle cooking at a better than reasonable price. What more can a person ask for.
