Excellent spot for lunch or dinner! Tucked away inside a cove at the State Park, there is mooring and docking available in front of the restaurant. We took our 24’ Sailfish over from Freedom Boat Club of Homestead and we were shocked how cool this Kay Biscayne park was. We docked without issue and went into the restaurant right when they opened at 11am. Erik was very helpful and made suggestions on the menu. We shared fish soup and a Red Snapper, seared with Cuban black beans and Spanish rice. Delicious 😋!!! It was not too garlicky and the fish was so fresh!!! Everything was great. There was so much actual seafood in the soup that is was crazy filling! Erik even refilled my tea mug for the ride back to the Freedom Boat Club location in Homestead. Thank You for everything!!! We will be back again and again!!

We were hesitant to dine at this place because of the negative feedback with regard to customer service. But we received a warm welcome from their manager and superb service from our server, Jefferson. Good food and amazing view too!

I've dined here before. Excellent. Not this time around. Fishing. Really feeding fish 🐟 with assorted bait. Had a great time chit-chating with other fishermen.

This was definitely not what I was expected, I liked this restaurant! The only reason I took off a star was because of three reasons. First, there were a lot of available tables and they made us wait a really long time to get our table, and following that, the second reason is that I want to specify the duration of time we waited and that was about 35-40 minutes. Then, the third reason is that the food is pretty expensive. My first thought when I saw the price was that I HAVE to see how it is rated here in Google Maps, and it was average (3.9), which really worried me. Now, I know I made the place sound bad, but now I will tell you the amazing things about this restaurant. So basically, I went with my family: my brother got the Snapper, my mother got the Fish Soup, my father got the Seafood Soup, my mother and father shared the Medium Whole Fish, and I got the Fish Fingers (we also got rice and fries.) And, the food was great! My Fish Fingers were nice and crispy and everyone’s rice was spot on. The fries were a bit simple, but nice and crunchy. The soups were absolutely amazing, and my parents loved the Medium Whole Fish. The staff was really nice, too! I would definitely recommend this place. Although it is a bit pricey, the food is delicious.

This Restaurant is on the side of the water which is very nice to sit by while eating the food. The food itself was very tasty and reasonably priced. Would recommend.

The Catch of the Day was served beautifully and devoured completely. Followed by perfect dessert and coffee. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was impeccable.
