Our group all shared a bit of each other's meal and I can testify that the Cuban Sandwich , Grouper Sandwich and Pilot House burger are the best in the upper keys. I highly recommend this to anyone staying in, or passing through Key Largo. Also, our waiter, Emanuel was also very polite and recommended all of the above. I will crave the food here when we go back to Washington Court House, Ohio.

Outstanding “off the beaten path” restaurant! Great atmosphere, views, music...and the food! Wife had Yellow tail lightly blackened with coconut rice, I had the Lobster mac-n-cheese and they were absolutely great! Our waitress was top notch, really attentive, great personality! Will definitely visit again!

We go there quite often for the happy hour specials. You have to know to ask for the happy hour menu, they don't just hand it to you. We 4 well drinks, 1 # of hot peel and eat shrimp, 1 order of wings, 4 sliders with cheese and fries...all that was about $40...that's pretty darn cheap for the keys... oh, and our server was wonderful... we only ordered one thing at a time so nothing got cold....

This place! So good. Great friendly sevice. The Surf and turf was just right. Mozzarella sticks were very good. Shrimp Linguine was tasty. We sat down and looked around and realized it was mostly locals, so I knew I chose the right place. Friendly smiling, beautiful people serving awesome food, and oh yeah, what a sunset!

Came for a late lunch and was sited right away at a high top over looking the water. Had the fried seafood combo which we shared and it was delicious. Not greasy at all, the shrimp were the best part. Service was really good as well.

We were greeted quickly and advised to sit wherever we want. The servers were nice and attentive. This was the best meal I have eaten in key largo so far. The food was delicious had a great flavor although the coke slaw does have a twang that I’m not sure if it’s vinegar or something else. Sitting on the ocean we saw sharks and large fish swimming around. The drinks were delicious. Definitely if you are looking for a good place to eat in key largo I would recommend the Pilot house.

I had the Sunday special, shrimp scampi over pasta. The meal was plentiful, seven large shrimp, and pasta. Very tasty, however the sauce was to salty for my taste, thin and loaded with onion, and garlic, the garlic was expected but way to much onion. The atmosphere was that of a friendly locals place the waitress was very attentive and friendly. Was disappointed the removed the glass floor.☹️ I would still recommend trying this place.

Awesome little restaurant located in the marina in Key Largo. I came here for the original “Harvey” fish sandwich and I have to say it was amazing. This restaurant was the original creator of the Harvey fish sandwich and since then it has been adapted into the other keys. The Harvey fish sandwich is a unique dish and a must try. We also had the conch fritters and the fish tacos. Both were on point. Would definitely come back here. Great place for kids. They can feed the fish while you wait for your food.

Ambiance is breath-taking, please don't feed the fish from your plate, ask the waiter and he will bring you fish food. Can't wait to go back again...

This is our second visit to the Pilot House! Everything we had was fresh and delicious! The menu is a welcome variety of food styles but we always gravitate to their delicious seafood! Sitting outside in the tiki bar area, over looking the water and beautiful boats just soothes the soul. Last time I had the Pilot House Harvey Fish Sandwich, which was just perfect and was clear to see why it was a favorite. This time I had the Crunchy Grouper Sandwich, which did not disappoint! My love had the Mahi Rockefeller Sandwich, rich in flavor and she had the salad with a refreshing vinaigrette dressing. She really enjoyed it so much! We found out from the manager, who frequently walks around chatting with the guests, that if you go to the hostess stand, they will give you some food for the fish. So we sat and fed the Mangrove snapper and Parrot fish. Shortly later, a small Manatee came floating by along with a couple Nurse sharks. It was like being in an aquarium! Apparently, the new management has been making fun changes adding lighting and other decorative things to add to the experience. This truly is a hidden gem so don't miss it! It is one of those places that if living here, I would be there all the time!

Another amazing water front eatery with live music, super friendly service and that Keys chill atmosphere. Great drink menu with tasty appetizers. Had this crazy sandwich called the Harvey fish sandwich, fried mahi-mahi, tomato, American cheese, tartar on whole wheat bread. Crazy crunch of goodness, so simple and so good. The dessert menu is excellent as well, but we are in the Keys and key lime pie is the staple. Make a stop at the Pilot house and enjoy the true Keys style restaurant.

My family is here on vacation and we stopped here for lunch. My husband and I had the spinach salad with grilled chicken. It was one of the best salads I have ever had. It had bacon, egg, & feta cheese in it. It felt so nice to sit outside on the patio with the sun shining down.

Came in for a simple dinner and left very pleased from the first time experience. Friendly greeting and seated promptly. Service was courteous and the food was served fairly quickly. The crunchy grouper sandwich and conch soup were my highlights. Live music played, vocals and guitar which gave a great feel to the overall experience. Would recommend.
