In September, my girlfriend and I spent a week in Key West, and were very happy to find this awesome shop, which we visited for coffee and breakfast probably 5 times during the week. She used to manage a coffee shop, so we're very picky about our coffee (fresh roasted/burr ground beans every day, water to temp, aeropress, etc.). This place knocked it out of the park, every single time. I ordered an iced red-eye with soy milk every day (which the gentleman behind the counter remembered by the end of the week) and it was always delicious, strong, and never bitter. The pastries were amazing! I tried a couple of the varieties of danishes and croissants (the almond croissants were my favorite), I only regret not bringing a bunch home with me. The breakfast sandwiches on the fresh-baked brioche were perfect, they were somehow buttery, eggy, and bacony, without making me feel like a puddle of grease in the oppressive heat. I had lunch there once too, and the roast beef sandwich was stacked a mile high. I had an awesome time in Key West, and I give credit to Old Town Bakery for helping me get off to a good start every morning. I only wish I could give more than 5 stars, truly outstanding.

We were staying at a nearby resort, that has excellent food. A friend who was staying there said he had lunch from here and we should try it. We tried it and have to say it was amazing. Had the French dip and the special brownie with the gnosh inside. It was the best I’ve had in ages. We he prices are great and the guy behind the counter was pretty friendly. I’ll definately go again.

From the smallest piece of cheese to the largest fresh baked bread, this is my favorite bakery - anywhere. The sweets are wonderful and so fresh, the breads are the best in town, the cheese assortment is fairly priced and the selection is pretty vast for such a little shop. The staff, -ACES!!!

Amazing breads! Arrive before 10 or all the fresh baguettes may be gone. Beautiful baked goods. The scones I had were light and wonderfully flavored with fresh raspberries. Also great espresso.

Just went for my first time and was blown away by how good everything was. The baguettes and croissants rival anything you could get in Paris (France not Maine) and the coffee was exceptional. Owners are warm and friendly to boot. Great place!

Key Lime Pie
Guided by the reviews, we stopped by this bakery to try their version of the Key Lime Pie. This one has a gingersnap crust which is a great contrast to the tart, sweet Key Lime Pie filling and the coffee was pretty good too. The prices at this bakery are very reasonable and the other bakery items looked really good too!!

Great staff and very fresh pastries. Coffee is also excellent! Appreciated that the desserts are not over sweet- flavors are there, not just sugar.

My husband and I stopped by here on the way back to the hotel and I am so thankful we found this little gem. The staff was very helpful, and the prices are reasonable. We bought a chocolate chip cookie, oatmeal raisin cookie, raspberry cheese Danish, and a sticky bun. They were all amazing and very fresh! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Great sandwiches. We went back for made to order Turkey sandwiches twice during our trip here. They were excellent. A large amount of Turkey. The bread was fresh and the price was cheap for KW. If you love fresh sandwiches don't miss this place. The cranberry walnut bread was also excellent. We took a loaf back to the room for breakfast.

This was just a few blocks from the B&B we stayed at, perfect to walk to and pick up lunch to eat on our balcony! My husband and I both got the chicken curry salad sandwich with apple slices, delish! I adore curry! We also got the chocolate croissant for dessert...decadent :) So buttery and flaky!

The sign outside reads "Get your buns in here!" You can get perfect Key Lime pie too, plus delectable croissants, danish, quiche, etc. etc. etc. all to upbeat music in a sweet little wooden house on Eaton Street.

More than just a bakery. Yes, the baked goods in the morning are awesome! But, the lunch sandwiches and breads are great as well. While there is no place to sit and eat, the Old Town Bakery offers plenty of reasons to enjoy take-away! Friendly family owned establishment. Get some breakfast on the go or lunch for a picnic, but don.t miss enjoying the products coming out of this great bakery.

Fantastic pastries. We just moved to Key West and were thrilled to find this wonderful neighborhood bakery. Everything we've tried, from the towering tin can brioche, to the homemade granola, to the pumpkin muffins with cream cheese filling, has been delicious. Service is always friendly.

My favorite: A ham sandwich on a baguette with brie and red onions. YUM!

Good bakery spot for breakfast. Tried a croissant and their guava and cheese pastry, get the last one because it's really good. Good coffee. They open at 7:00 AM. A few people were in line already but I was able to get out pretty quick to catch the ferry. No tables, just a bench outside.

Our hotel gave us $9 breakfast vouchers which we used for lunch since we already had breakfast plans. We ordered key west chicken wraps which had grilled chicken with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and guacamole. They were tasty, but we should have ordered chocolate croissants and scones instead, we were just trying not to go crazy with calories that day! Staff was friendly and efficient, we’ll be back for the baked goods for sure!

This bakery is next-door to the hotel that we stayed at, you receive a coupon for breakfast each morning. We stopped in and had a scone and some kind of apple danish. Both things that we ordered were absolutely delicious.

The guava cheese pastry, apple cobbler Danish, cappuccino and iced Cafe con Leche were perfect. I also had a roast beef sandwich on a baguette which tasted phenomenal but the baguette was super hard so it was difficult to eat. Also they just put toothpick thru the sandwich to hold it together and threw it in a paper bag without being wrapped or anything which was odd. I highly recommend not getting a sandwich on a baguette and instead get it on regular bread. The service was fine but the cashier wasn't very friendly. Also there is no place to sit and eat.

After a 2 mile bike ride we were so excited to arrive at the quaint little bakery. But what it lacks in front of store size, it apparently surpasses in baked in love. My goodness, first we couldn't decide what to get between several different crafted croissants, danishes, muffins, baguettes, breads, and sandwiches so we basically got one of each! Each one just as amazing as the next. Expect some of the flakiest pastries with incredible fruit slices or jams. The coffee is an added bonus but mind the bike ride as you may lose some!

The place is a bit small which made it challenging to walk in and stand in line, however, that didn't deter me from going every day. Great coffee, great food!

I had the peach cobbler danish, which was SO good. I’m giving 5 stars for that alone. I also had the breakfast burrito which was just okay. It’s a bakery so I don’t expect them to have the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had.
