Good food, fresh burgers, excellent fries, helpful staff. We got so full from the food we skipped the custard! It's great for what it is, but the portions on the pulled pork and cheese steak sandwich left a bit to be desired. We would go again but stick to burgers and fries. By the way, the bucket of fries is BIG and well worth it.
Great prices. Fries were good. Custards were good. The cashier was soft spoken and hard to hear and I could see employees sitting on their phones with a long line of customers. But still good đź‘Ť
Ridiculously great frozen custard. It’s always been my dream to open a place like this (I’ve even gone to several schools to learn about making frozen custard) and this is by far the best I’ve had. The coconut just slaps and the chocolate was rich but not heavily so. Can’t wait to come back. 👏
This place was fantastic! We ordered the Better Burger and the NC Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich and they were both delicious. The burger patty tasted super fresh and the veggies were also crisp. The NC bbq tasted pretty legit and the slaw was a great addition to the overall taste. The bun’s unbeatable— it tasted super buttery and had a really nice fluffy texture. I definitely am coming back here!
The people working here were also great, kudos to them for keeping a steady yet fast paced service to a very busy place!
Love eating here when we go to the outer banks. It can get crowded but the wait is never too long.
Burgers, fries & ice cream are all excellent. The have a few vegetarian options as well that are quite tasty.

This little stand on the main drag was a throw back to Custard stands of old. It had a variety of flavors changing daily to go with the traditional vanilla and chocolate. The custard was smooth and delicious. It is way better than your run of the mill soft serve.
The food and drink options were bbq and burgers and all looked tasty.
We got drinks and floats and found all of or orders to be better than expected. We also found the pricing to be fair and better than most chain shops.
We would definitely go back.
Love the place and very close to the beach. They have amazing Sundae options. We tried their jambusta which had raspberries beignents along with the ice cream
Kill Devil custard is a place that serves great frozen desserts along with a good variety of foods made to order. Getting here early is a must to avoid the long lines that generate here. If you heard the buzz about this place, it's probably correct. Parking is limited to very bad which is unfortunate for such a popular place. Probably easier to drop someone off to order, come back and pick them up with your food. Good showing from KDC.
The BEST frozen custard. We LOVE Kill Devil's. I know Culver's is popular for their custard, but this one blows it away. It is silky smooth, creamy, and not too sweet. They have chocolate and vanilla as standard flavors with a rotating flavor of the day. Yesterday it was coconut (blissful) and today's is caramel cheesecake (delicious). They have a great selection of custard treats like sundaes, shakes, and waffle custard sandwiches
They also have a great food menu. We had burgers and a bucket of fries. Everything was cooked perfectly. The staff is great, and they get your order out as quickly as possible. No reason to go to 5 Guys, come here instead. You won't regret it.
Quick and easy to order and get our food. Staff was very nice. Area around here was clean and well kept. Definitely recommend the burger and the fries. Priced decently. The custard was really good. Definitely recommend giving it a shot. Convenient location right off of the main drag. Parking was plentiful enough for the amount of people. Will definitely be back to this establishment. Can't wait for our next trip back to the outer banks.
