The Bonzer Shack is a great place to enjoy an authentic beach bar experience. The atmosphere inside is lovely and the staff is kind. With that being said, even being the only customers inside, service was still slow and brought us the wrong food. The food itself was decent. We had the Bang Bang Burg
Cool little place. There was a wait inside but we could go outside, order from the bar and our food brought out to us. We were hungry so that's what we did. The fish (Mahi Mahi) tacos were amazing. Food was FRESH & made to order... it was a little more expensive than I thought it would be but honest
1st time visiting here. Really enjoyed it, great drinks tasty food. A bit pricey but the food was good. Enjoyed eating outside, window waitress/bartender was fun. Hope they enjoy the round of beers we bought them. Hope they filled the ketchup. LOL
Love the atmosphere of this place. Server was very friendly and informative of daily specials and such. My wife had the BBQ chicken sandwich and loved it, I had the crab cakes and they were beyond phenomenal. Best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be coming back soon!
Great atmosphere. I really like the whole surfer thing. Lots of old relics liter the bar. Service was good. Place was rather empty so seating and parking was a breeze. Queso steak tacos are great. Great place for beer drinkers (see photos for list). Less than a block from beach. Outside area is order from window when you want something. Inside is like wait on service. Outside area has shaded and in sun areas. Drinks are strong!!
Mango Jalepéño Frozen Margarita is to die for!!!! Prosper bacon wrapped BBQ shrimp. The fried gouda cakes are something from another univers. Sooooo, so so, very tasty.

This is a really great restaurant! The atmosphere is awesome with drift wood and surfboards adorning every surface! The Bonzer Shrimp was some of the best I've ever had, and the tacos were fresh and delicious!

Super cool hang out place. Always want to stop Ina place that's not a "chain". Server was really nice and super cute (Hi Katie). Food was delicious. Only drawback was the drink prices (tea) were a killer!!! 😯🥺 Definitely stop in when in town.

Liked it. The food bowl I got was OK. There were hot spices in the pickles that surprised me. I couldn't eat them but they're ok.
I had the grilled tuna with fries and slaw. The tuna could’ve been grilled a minute or two less, but was still very good. I ate outside. Even though there wasn’t supposed to be table service, the attentive server brought my food out. Dessert was house made key lime pie, so delicious—the right blend
So glad my husband and I found this bar on accident! We had drinks off-season, so it was quiet. The bartender was awesome. The outdoor area looked neat, but it was too chilly to use it. Would love to come back!

On vacation from Illinois. We where lucky and didn't have to wait for a table, but a party of 6 had a small table to start because it was very busy. After some people left we got an extra table. Food was very good. Service was excellent. Would eat there again.
Love this beach road favorite! Classic drinks and tap beers. Seasonal menus. Moderately priced. Great atmosphere. Live music. Closed Monday-Wednesday.
