Just a weekend out at Kitty Hawk area. I can always tell if a cook cares about the food when it comes out to the table. The fries were golden brown and my chicken BLT looked and tasted great! My husband had shrimp and grits with an orangy sauce. Was also delicious. I left a great tip bc
My wife and I decided to try Roosters Southern Kitchen for dinner on our first night in OBX. It was a great decision. Large selection of food and beverages. My wife went for the “whole-half bird” and I went with the pulled pork. Both were excellent choices. We will be back again.

Great homestyle cooking. We had 11 in our party and we got seated quickly and the waitress was very prompt. Delicious food. Some of the favorites around our table were the fried chicken, steak and the turkey platter with stuffing.
This place was amazing! Great customer service! Great food! The deviled eggs and bacon is a MUST!! We also got to build our own mimosas which was fun.
Very impressed! The personnel, the food, the live music! My husband had just the wings and couldn't finish them. He raved about the taste. I had the fried oysters. I am from New England and am very picky about my seafood. I loved them. They weren't overdone and had a light breading.
