We had a late lunch and there were still locals eating when we got there. The atmosphere was so unique, everyone was kind and welcoming! My boyfriend ordered French toast and a half order of biscuits and gravy, I ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes. Delicious! Would definitely recommend! Both the biscuits and gravy and my meal had a very heavy portion of white pepper gravy, yum!
Their entire menu is available all day. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. ALL DAY. The walls are decorated with photos of classic cars. Been here 3 times and never had an issue. The waitress are sassy which I love. The cook are doing their thing in the back. We were a group of 7 and they had the whole parties food done and it all came hot.
Monday morning about 9am, busy but not overly crowded. Lots of local groups. Service was excellent from start to finish. Ordered the Freightliner (huge breakfast) and biscuits and gravy. My eggs and hash browns were cooked perfectly. Wife enjoyed her biscuits and gravy, we both left uncomfortably full and extremely satisfied. Again, service was excellent the entire meal.
Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak skillet! The gravy was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! you will not be disappointed!
This is a truly awesome diner. The atmosphere is wonderful. It's quaint. The service was spectacular. The food was delicious! I'd give 10 stars if I could!
Cool place. Sandwiches have car names. Food was good and staff was great. Pictures and memorabilia made for great decor.
If you ever need a place to eat in Kingman, AZ you NEED to stop & eat at Hot Rod Cafe! Stopped there going up to Utah & a few days later stopped again for lunch on the way back! You will not be disappointed, especially with the onion rings (make their own). Friendly staff & great food, perfect combination!
We were so fortunate to find this fantastic cafe! The food is excellent, the decor is so much fun, the service is speedy and friendly, and you can really tell that there is pride of ownership in the place. We will be back soon!
