I've been in Kingsland 3 years and Sonic is my favorite fast food place. Staff has always been most pleasant and the food is good. I really like the special deals, like half price cheeseburgers on Tuesdays!
100% Hands down the best sonic in the entire hill country. I've been to them all, and while fast food is typically unremarkable, this store has always brought me hot fresh food. The one time I had a cold order, the manager grilled some cooks and got me a fresh make. If you sonic, do it here.
Full disclosure, I haven’t been to a Sonic in years. While I recognize a lot of the menu items like their great burgers, tater tots, chili dogs and sandwiches with that famous Texas Toast there are some new things like the drive thru. I will say that I went old school and ordered from one of the stalls and got my food quicker than people in the drive thru line. Sonic has done a great job staying hip with their drinks and happy hour specials.
The thing that really stood out to me today was the fast, friendly service and the little, over the top details like the peppermint taped to my bag and the salt packet in the sack. My order was not only correct but carefully packaged. Who gets that at a gas food place in a small town??

I love the tots with chili & cheese. This Sonic location even has a drive thru in addition to the multiple drive up slots. Service is surprisingly fast, efficient and friendly!
Burger & fries great but waited awhile for my order. Busy location since near lake. Loved my limeade!
Our burgers were freshly cooked and fries were hot. Carhop was very courteous and friendly.
