We just ordered a steak and cheese 🧀 onion rings 🌰 and a taco salad 🌮 to go from The Backdraft! Hands down the best lunch around! The food and customer service is always exceptional 👌 👏 Whoever is in the kitchen is doing their thing and sending out delicious, amazing, beautiful dishes! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳🍽 Thank you for the scrumptious lunch, Backdraft! Definitely would reccomend eating here!!! 💪🙌😍

DELICIOUS Bacon wrapped Scallops, Tangy outstanding Sauerkraut on Huge Beef Dog. This place is a gem, and the other patrons are so friendly. We met this elderly couple and talked for over an hour. So much good out there when you step out and enjoy the folks that are just like you. SPECTACULAR Food, people, and dessert.

A diner-like menu selection, but the food was very good and the service was both quick and friendly. They have a smoking / bar section and a non-smoking section, but the cigarette smoke was noticeable upon entering the non-smoking section. I've only been here twice with someone who lives in Kinsale, but Backdraft seems to pull in a good stream of customers, so I'd say it's a popular establishment.

I was expecting a bigger crowd but pleasantly surprised. I like the fact that the owners here have a smoking and non-smoking section. Now for the wait staff. The young lady that waited on us was friendly and professional. No complaints. It did however take quite a while to get the 🍸 we ordered. That was no fault of hers. That was the bartender. It was a Thursday and we were informed that it was all you can eat ribs and shrimp. My companions and I decided, why not? When they arrived I was prepared to chew on leather. They looked dry and over cooked. Both the shrimp and the ribs. To my utter delight, when I lifted the rib, the meat fell right off the bone. It could have used a little more BBQ sauce but other than that, they were some pretty darn good ribs. They shrimp were good as well but just a teeny tiny bit over cook. The fries that came with were a little soggy but the main attraction made up for it. Backdraft can cook some ribs. Cheers to the Chef.
