Not very good indian food. The review that brought me here said "the best Pakistani food ever". I have to strongly disagree. Mild and bland curry with barely any spices. More like oily stewed beef roast. I ordered lamb and they gave me beef instead to save money. They must think that people can't tell. I cook indian food myself and I know the difference. And the "naan" you get isn't bad but it's pizza bread that they use for their pizzas..
The pizzas looked pretty good. I won't be going back.

I can’t say anything for the other food as I’ve not yet tried it. But it’s the best pizza I’ve had in a while. It taste fresh and flavorful and it’s not just a bunch of grease. I had the buffalo wings as well and really enjoyed those . This will be my go to pizza place for now on

WE LOVE RED ONION!! Friendly staff and quick service. Some of our favorite pizza. The owners have been there for 33 years. Excellent food and very reasonable prices/portions.

The food was great, my mom is from Bangladesh and I’ve been missing her cooking. This place not only went above and beyond for me but the food reminded me of home cooked meals that I’ve been missing. Not to mention they were also really sweet people so overall great experience. We will definitely be back

Pizza is fine, truly nothing special. They also refused to honor the pizza coupons listed on their website. They proposed charging $37 more than what the total with 9.75% tax would be if you look at their website. They said that their rent had increased, materials were more expensive. I do not doubt that--costs on everything are insane right now--but if that's the case, then they need to update their pricing so their customers aren't taken by surprise. They said no one else but me had ever been frustrated by them not honoring the prices listed on their website, that every other person who does carry out just confirms the price beforehand and is fine with it...As you can see from other one star reviews, prices are relative for this store. Buyer beware.

If you’re looking for desi style pizza in Knoxville. This is the place that has it. A simple kitchen run by an elder couple, great taste and good value for money.

Don't let the dining room fool ya, the food is amazing. Can't wait to go back and try more Indian dishes. The chicken curry was delicious.

Just called their customer service for information on their food being zabiha halal, sourcing, and etc. The man who I was talking to was being extremely rude about simple questions. That makes me wonder if the food here is truly zabiha halal if they're going to get really defensive and give an attitude about simple questions about the meat sourcing. My family and I were considering eating at Red Onion but if staff is going to be as rude as they were on the phone, we would like to avoid it. Please work on your staff’s phone etiquette.

The worst place ever, the Indian food that they serve is trash, it is like left overs from over a month. The tables, the spoons, everything was really dirty. I could not eat that much because everything was awful. Who wants to pay 15$ for a plate of trash????? I am just wondering why they added Indian food to their menu when they are unable to serve real Indian food. The owner, the man is really rude and offensive. I just hated this place. It was my first and last time.

Fabulous fresh pizza & salads! Ordered delivery from Red Onion to our hotel, as we were passing through Knoxville on our way home to Atlanta. Pizzas arrived hot and fresh and were delicious. Salads were fresh and flavorful as well. Service was prompt and they brought napkins, forks and styrofoam plates! Definitely recommend.

Good local pizza. Solid pizza place. Good cheese and they dont skimp on the toppings. Good alternative to the national chain pizza places.

Wonderful crust. Veggie delight and Mediterrean are highly recommended.

Red Onion is a hidden gem! The owners are so nice and accommodating. We have ordered delivery many many times and it is always delicious, hot, and perfectly cooked. The crust and sauce are the best in town. Every pizza is great, but we find ourselves ordering the colossal and the vegetable the most. You will not be disappointed. You can dine in and byob or wine too!

Great salads and phenomenal pizza. My three favorites are the following: 1. Green olive and onion (create your own). 2. Thin crust spinach and garlic (create your own). 3. Mediterranean. The owners are really nice and accommodating. Love this place!!!

Great Pizza!. Got the new School Coupon Book and thought I'd give this place a try. I've worked in the area for almost 8 years and have passed by here many times but never stopped. The coupon I had was 2 large 1 topping pizzas for $14.99........not too bad, so I ordered one extra cheese & the other half peperoni half sausage + extra sauce on both. The man who helped me was likely the owner. He was very nice and the pies were ready when I arrived. The pizza was really good. It was much better than I'd come to expect from "Ma & Pop" / one shot pizza places that are scattered about every city in the US. The sauce was good, the crust was great, and the pizzas were not burnt or undercooked, they were just right. the extra cheese pizza REALLY did have extra cheese. As a former PaPa John's Site Manager, I can honestly say that cheese is hands down the biggest cost in pizza. Many establishments will cheat you on the "extra" cheese, but this place wont. Next time I'll be willing to lay down the scratch for a combo-pizza, their Mediterranean Pizza really looks good.
